Why do my technicians have to log into the app daily, sometimes multiple times a day ?

Used to be good. Rockwell takeover has made it bad

So I have been using FIIX since 2017. There’s been a lot of changes over the years but overall the experience has been pleasant. Started noticing ever since Rockwell has bought out FIIX that the app now constantly lags. You now have to login every day as it logs you out daily. That wouldn’t be a problem if it would tell you that you’re not logged in and go straight to the main screen. However, sometimes it will allow you to work as though you’re logged in, only to find an hour later that all the work you’ve done was for nothing as it requests you to login and doesn’t save what you’ve already done. Refreshing used to take only a second to update the system but now it can take a literal minute or two, or ten.. and it can sometimes go without refreshing due to wanting you to login again without stating it, so you’re staring at the little spiral for minutes hoping you’re not going to have to logout and back in and have all your work lost. We have been using their CMMS Professional for years but we may be looking at moving towards a different software.

App keeps freezing

When I click on a work order the app freezes and I have to close the app and open again , and If click on the same work order again it sometimes freezes again and this happens all the time and not just when opening work orders also when trying to close assets or trying to save the information I’ll be lucky if I can get one work order done without the app freezing . Also I can’t even see what I’m typing when writing on my notes or when adding details. So many bugs since this past update. It’s honestly frustrating since I have to use this app every day

Desktop is Awesome/App needs work

Overall FiiX is top notch as a CMMS the desktop environment is very easy to use and navigate. The app is improving but is still pretty limited. With the most recent update they have given us the ability to see ALL work orders not just those assigned to the user or anyone that reports to that user. However the filter is broken. The only work orders you will see, even though you filter for a specific “status” are the Active ones. Any work orders that are part of the Pending category will not show up. You can find them just like always from the desktop and then change the status back to an active type so your technician can see it again. This is limiting for the technician who is active in the system and uses it to actually track the status of his/her work. You should be able to see any work order type that you filter for, thus the reason you filtered for it…
