I’ve been using FanDuel for years and have wagered thousands of dollars on their platform, but after my recent experience, I’m done. I was playing in a regulated area, same service, same location, no issues—and suddenly got removed from a round due to a “geolocation error” right after placing chips on a number that ended up hitting. Every other round worked fine, especially when I lost. But the one time I was set to win, I got booted.Their support was slow, unhelpful, and clearly didn’t understand the issue. After days of back and forth, I was basically told too bad, nothing could be done because the round “wasn’t accepted” due to the error. I wasn’t asking for real cash winnings—I simply asked for a bonus or something as a gesture after a clear technical issue. For a loyal customer who’s consistently used their platform for years and wagered serious money, that’s not asking for much.It’s frustrating and honestly shady. In a live casino, your chips don’t vanish due to a software glitch. If you want a fairer, more reliable experience, I suggest switching to ESPN Bet, Fanatics, or just going to a physical casino. FanDuel clearly doesn’t value customer loyalty, and the risk of “geolocation” errors conveniently happening only when you’re about to win isn’t worth it.

I do love the app, super easy to navigate & make bets but I have constant issues with app features not working. The new “tap to see averages” feature that allows you to tap on an athlete’s profile to see their previous scores/averages, will work for 2 days if I’m lucky but usually doesn’t last more than a day then when I get back on, it’s gone & doesn’t work until a random day like a week or so later. I have tried updating the app, uninstalling & reinstalling, clearing my cache, nothing works & it is completely random as to when it does & doesn’t work. Right now, I had the feature yesterday but I just got back on the app today & it no longer works. This also extends to the “featured” bets during games that have the bets FanDuel makes with the silly names & whatnot like “The Chef & The Butler” “Jimmy Buckets” etc, they also appear & disappear at the same time as the player feature does. It is very frustrating not having access to a feature & I have to constantly ask my partner what players scored/etc in previous games just so I can make choices on my bets or have to switch between google & FanDuel repeatedly to check which is even more annoying. Not sure what’s going on with it but hopefully the issue is permanently fixed soon.

Don’t use this book I’m begging

Please whether your new or veteran in sports betting I beg you not use fan duel it is the absolute worst anti player buggy book in existence. They do “no sweat bets” that’s the promo they really hang there hat on which would be nice if you could bet more than 10$. You can not. Another thing is when you use the promo and lose the bet you don’t get your money from the bet immediately sometimes it’s a day sometimes it’s multiple days sometimes they try to pull a fast one on you and you have to go into support to get your money back. The promotions are truly awful feast week is one of the biggest weeks for betting in the US I loaded up that Monday to check the promos. They gave 0 promos on any basketball and 1 promotion for a 20% live bet in that MNF game between 2 teams that score 12 points a game. To cap it off on multiple occasions I’ve had to go to war with their support which by the way will make you feel bad and dumb for contacting them about a problem that is their fault. But I’ve had to go to war to get them to pay out a winning parlay with a leg that has pushed. When there is a leg that pushes or there is a player that does not play in the game this book marks that as a loss and you have to go to support and do the whole song and dance to get the money you won legally, completely by the books. This book has the worst promotions most tech issues and least friendly support. I’m begging you do yourself a favor and just use DraftKings

One of the worst casino apps I’ve ever used

Please find another app to use. FanDuel is purposely delaying people on their money so they can lose it all back to them. I’ll admit sometimes I get carried away when it comes to gambling. I usually use fanatics sportsbook and casino because they have really good responsible gaming features. One for example is you can set your account so that you can’t cancel a withdrawl. If you withdraw your money it won’t let you cancel it which is great if you have little self control. Also 99% of the time when I hit withdrawl the money is in my account within minutes. Now with FanDuel it is the complete opposite. They will make you wait DAYS for your money. It’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. The last 3 times I won money on this app they delayed me so long that I ended up canceling my withdrawl and losing the money back. I discussed this with friends who also said the same thing happened to them. Now I am starting to believe this is intentional. I find it hard to believe that we live in 2024 and these guy can’t get quick withdrawals like every other app out there. I’ve used many apps for gambling and they all range from minutes to hours to process a withdrawl but FanDuel for some reason takes DAYS. FanDuel preys on people especially the ones with little self control. They purposely make their cash out process take long in hopes you will cancel your withdrawl and lose your money. They are straight up trash please use something else
