I’ve been using FanDuel for years and have wagered thousands of dollars on their platform, but after my recent experience, I’m done. I was playing in a regulated area, same service, same location, no issues—and suddenly got removed from a round due to a “geolocation error” right after placing chips on a number that ended up hitting. Every other round worked fine, especially when I lost. But the one time I was set to win, I got booted.Their support was slow, unhelpful, and clearly didn’t understand the issue. After days of back and forth, I was basically told too bad, nothing could be done because the round “wasn’t accepted” due to the error. I wasn’t asking for real cash winnings—I simply asked for a bonus or something as a gesture after a clear technical issue. For a loyal customer who’s consistently used their platform for years and wagered serious money, that’s not asking for much.It’s frustrating and honestly shady. In a live casino, your chips don’t vanish due to a software glitch. If you want a fairer, more reliable experience, I suggest switching to ESPN Bet, Fanatics, or just going to a physical casino. FanDuel clearly doesn’t value customer loyalty, and the risk of “geolocation” errors conveniently happening only when you’re about to win isn’t worth it.

I’d like to express my opinion on the site and why I am so upset with FanDuel and will recommend to everyone not to use it. It began about a month ago when I was sent an email about a free 50 FanDuel was adding to my account. At that point I had been using DraftKings and unibet and froze my FanDuel account. I was impressed with a free 50, so I asked for my account to be reopened, which it was, but there was no money. I had talked to support (have the email still) and Jake had told me it would be added in a day and if not to write back. It wasn’t added and a day or two later I got an email apologizing and saying that email about the 50 was sent by mistake. There goes the money, even though your support team told me I was getting it after the email stated I was getting it. Ok, too late, I already reopened my account so I Might as we’ll place a few bets. This takes me to ufc bet that I will put in the picture (pic was sent to FanDuel in my same email to them). I got two of the fights correct with the third fight being cancelled. I didn’t think I would get the winnings, but since I didn’t really miss any I figured at least my money back... nope. Nothing. This is scary especially with Covid canceling sports and teams games. If a bet is placed and game never happens, from past experience, fan duel gets the money because the pick wasn’t right. I then wrote to contact and speak to someone, but again nothing. I think this is pathetic for a company the size of fanduel to do this to any customer.

Was playing non-live dealer roulette when I placed three bets on one spin. A chip on the first dozen, a chip on the second dozen, and a chip on Green 0. Green 0 hits, and I receive no payout when I certainly just placed the wager, triple checked to make sure I did because it’s easy to misplace a bet playing online. Anyways, made the bet, and received no payout. Contacted support to alert them of my issue to have it rectified to be told I cannot be given my winnings. I have no idea how you can take my money after I win the bet. Have already spoken to family friends in gaming commission. Secondly, their live dealers are scrupulous. The croupier on the roulette table was throwing the ball down several times, legit throwing and tossing/dropping it into the wheel. Have also seen one Blackjack dealer draw cards and dispose of them until she had a face card and/or number high enough to beat players. All the while looking at the cards (suppose to be face down). And then the kicker of all kickers, watched the same croupier mentioned above spin, ball lands in green 0…. Sits there for 7-8 seconds, winning number flashes on screen and what do you know somehow the ball has moved one space over and the number was changed. That chat was livid in that game. I shouldn’t have to screen record every wager I place due to fear of cheating but I’m going to have to. Have everyone of them recorded and documented besides the Green 0 incident. Save your money and DO NOT bet online with live-dealers or non-live. Stick to sports or go to a live casino where you can lose your money fairly. This doesn’t look very good on FD’s end.

I do love the app, super easy to navigate & make bets but I have constant issues with app features not working. The new “tap to see averages” feature that allows you to tap on an athlete’s profile to see their previous scores/averages, will work for 2 days if I’m lucky but usually doesn’t last more than a day then when I get back on, it’s gone & doesn’t work until a random day like a week or so later. I have tried updating the app, uninstalling & reinstalling, clearing my cache, nothing works & it is completely random as to when it does & doesn’t work. Right now, I had the feature yesterday but I just got back on the app today & it no longer works. This also extends to the “featured” bets during games that have the bets FanDuel makes with the silly names & whatnot like “The Chef & The Butler” “Jimmy Buckets” etc, they also appear & disappear at the same time as the player feature does. It is very frustrating not having access to a feature & I have to constantly ask my partner what players scored/etc in previous games just so I can make choices on my bets or have to switch between google & FanDuel repeatedly to check which is even more annoying. Not sure what’s going on with it but hopefully the issue is permanently fixed soon.
