A great way to start the day

I love to open Saged when I’m first waking up. It sets the tone for the day and it’s a good step to do before my morning meditation. I have learned some interesting things about topics I had no idea about but that have always called me. I had the free version for a few months before I decided to experience the whole offer with the membership. It’s a bit pricey compared to other apps, but it does offer some good perks that makes it worth it. Julia, the founder, is really nice and accessible. I appreciate that because it really feels like a community. Also, I have identified collaborators that I like and resonate more with. I have worked with them through different services they provide and now I can say I have a personal relationship with them and I love having them in my journey. If I could improve something about the app, it would be to make some sections easier to navigate. I have saved quite some content (only available with premium) and the only way to see all my content is by scrolling. I wish there was a way to select a tile view and go through the sections easier. So search no more, if you’re into a more spiritual way of living, you need to download Saged.

I really want to love this app, but the notifications are out of control.

I have never seen an app think it’s so important that it needs to send you some many notifications. It’s noon, and I’ve already received 7 pestering notifications today. I’ve received two while trying to write this review. It constantly bombards you with “join premium!” “25% off premium!!” “50% off premium!!” “Free 7 day trial!” “In case you missed it…!” “Join (person) for a live class!” None of these notifications are personal, human connections. Just a constant badgering to use their app. There seems to be no grey area between “turn off all notifications via your phone permissions” and relentlessly notifying you like a desperate ex. I’ve turned off emails (which were just as bad) but some still trickle through. I’ve had 40+ notifications in 5 days. At this point, I wish I could love the app. The content seems interesting. But I cannot in good conscious support a company with such aggressive marketing that claims to focus on wellness and mental health spirituality. A constant onslaught of notifications is contrary to health and meditative practice. I cannot support this predatory behavior and I hope the creators of this app reconsiders their marketing plan in favor of the wellness of their users.

Hi love, yes we had a bit of an onslaught of notifications over the weekend! This is not the norm. But hey, when we offer a juicy discount and when it’s equinox - we want people to know! Especially in these inflation crazy times we like to help our community save $$$ on their favorite things. If you need help on how to turn off notifications- let us know. Without notifications you can still use the app daily to see all the magic but no longer be bothered between sessions! Thank you for the honest feedback, we appreciate you 🙏
