While I’m at it can I ask for a return of the fantastic random loop round trip feature that Go Ride had?Bug Report: Navigation Stalls During Background Execution (Screen Off)Device & Environment•Device: iPhone 14 Pro•iOS Version: 26.5•App: TomTom - Maps and Traffic (current version)•Usage Context: Motorcycle navigation with screen off; phone tucked away; relies entirely on voice guidanceIssue Description During active navigation, when the screen is off and the app runs in the background, the navigation frequently stalls. Voice prompts stop updating, turn-by-turn guidance pauses, and the route progress indicator freezes. The app does not crash, and the GUI remains responsive when the screen is reactivated—only the active navigation subsystem appears frozen.Restarting active navigation (stopping and restarting the route) temporarily resolves the issue.Reproduction Context The issue occurs reliably during afternoon winding rides with screen off. Good, but needs some improvement

I like the maps more that in any other navigation app, the graphics are second to none. The traffic display is also excellent. I would improve the CarPlay integration since it only integrates with the center screen, unlike Apple, Google maps and Here Navigation which also display instructions in instrument panel and Heads-up display, if available. It would be nice if TomTom joins this list since the app is good. Couple of small bugs, like it takes some time for app to figure out the direction of travel and change the map view from 2D to 3D, also if day/night settings differ on iPhone and CarPlay sometimes it has trouble to adjust the map color. Opening the app on the phone usually fixes that. Other than that this is the app I use as default.

I deleted this app because it does not show new business in th area I live in on the map and does not show business closures in my area that I have reported multiple times and nothing ever changed. I like Google Maps better. You can report a business closure or add a business to the map WITHIN THE APP. If this app has some major improvements with stuff like that then I will redownload this app but until then sadly I feel I must keep this app UN-installed on my phone. Thank you for taking the time to read this. This app ranks number 124th in navigation (the number keeps going up) on the App Store. That’s pretty bad isn’t it? I’m sorry it’s just I want to like this app and there are certain things that I like such as incident reporting but even with that it’s not the best. For example when I report roadwork it does not immediately reflect that on the map. Thank You again for taking the time to read this.
Not as good as the built in maps app

We have been using the app since we had a TomTom device and liked it but discontinued using it because it wasn’t as convenient as just using our phone. We were excited to use your app because of our experience with the TomTom device, but the app isn’t as accurate and sometimes gives false directions that would make the trip much longer. It’s so frustrating we will probably just use our maps app on our iPhone in the future. We also don’t use Google Maps for the same reason.
