I’m tempted to write sweet reviews about Eversend. Yes, the app is amazing. They have successfully helped with all my transactions most of the time. The app works automatically and it doesn’t take time to get your money converted and transferred to another country. I love them for this. However, there are times that they can be frustrating and that may be when you need them to work urgently and swiftly as they always do. That’s when there is a glitch and your money hangs somewhere. They will definitely solve it but it might take 48 hours or more. Generally, their service is top-notch and I will recommend them. But just bear in mind that there will be glitches sometimes and be patience enough for them to deal with it, no matter how frustrating it can be.

I linked my card in their app but still couldn’t use their service, so I contacted support. They asked me to send the front and back of my card, masking all digits except the first and last four, along with my bank statement. I provided everything they requested. Later, I was informed that my request was declined and that I couldn’t use my debit card. They advised me to link my bank account instead, but gave no reason for the denial. About 12 hours after contacting support, I noticed unauthorized transactions on my card from Nigeria. Based on the timing and the fact that they were the only company I had recently shared my card details with, I strongly suspect a connection. This isn’t the first time, about a year or two ago, I experienced a similar situation when I initially tried linking my card with them after creating my account. That repeated pattern raises even more concern. I immediately reached out to their support again for an explanation, and their response was:‘Hi Joseph 😊, thanks for reaching out to Eversend. Which site is this?’At this point, I’m very concerned. Please be cautious when dealing with them. I strongly advise against sharing sensitive financial information, as it may be at risk.

all this app cares about is their pocket & their profit, they’re not for the people. they only want the fees associated with the transactions. downloading this app means you’re deciding to add extra discomfort to your life. i initiated a transaction and eversend didn’t process this transaction, almost 14 hours later, i left the location and begged eversend to cancel this transaction, they blatantly ignored my messages and conveniently replied 4 days later saying “great news, the transaction has delivered” 4 days!!! without a single response all through, no explanations, they acted like they didn’t see my messages because of the fees they wanted. another instance was when their app glitched, i wanted to convert some naira to usd— an equivalent of $20, all the money in my naira account totaling ~$2000 converted. i was furious, i had screenshots, i had screen recordings. they made me lose 233,000 NAIRA, i complained, they acted deaf, all they kept talking about was how i can convert the money back to naira even without considering that it was their glitch and i was going to lose over $150, they cared less cause it was their way of profitability. hungry animals. one other instance was the virtual card, it was pre-loaded with $318, i tried to buy a flight for $305, the third party app rejected the card because it wasn’t 3D secure. and eversend had the guts to charge me $11 for FX transaction, even after so many back and forth telling them the merchant didn’t charge my card, screenshots from the merchant, email receipts, they cared less and said every charge comes with fx fees. for a card that wasn’t charged. i hope you make a wise decision not downloading this app or uninstalling it, because there’s better options out there with a better UI, and better rate called “ACCRUE” there’s also one called “BITNOB”
