Welcome to the Matterhorn App - The official app of Zermatt – Matterhorn. Home You can access the webcams, weather forecast and live panoramic map on the home page. It’s possible to view the live e-bus timetable, reserve a table in the online restaurant reservation system or look for an event you’d like to attend. LIVE Want to know which lifts and runs are open, the weather forecast for your stay or when the next train leaves? You can find all this information on the live page, alongside webcam images and the latest warnings from Zermatt Bergbahnen. EXPLORE Looking for ideas for activities, restaurants or bars? Maybe you'd rather relax in a spa? Let the app inspire you! It’s easy to find the places you want on the map using the filter function. TICKETS You can book your cable car or travel ticket in the Ticket Shop, avoiding long queues at the ticket counter. PEAK TRACK Get even more out of your skiing day: Save your ski pass and track your personal skiing statistics. Create groups, compete with friends or take part in the public ranking list and see who has collected the most vertical meters PROFILE Create your own profile and enter your interests to receive personalized content. You can also sign up to receive warnings about cable cars and runs or push notifications about the Visp–Zermatt route. There is also an overview of purchased tickets, table reservations and saved favourites in your profile.

Bus Stops and Routes not on Maps

There are no maps showing Red and Green Bus stop locations and the bus routes. This should be fundamental on the Transition theme map in this app!!! The open and closing times of the individual ski lifts are not given - the times change throughout the season and are different for each lift. This should be published on this app or at least provide the link to this information that is found on a different site. I hear that the times might be available soon in this app - thank you if this happens. The hiking trails show as icons instead of routes, so you have to guess which icon you think is near the trails you want.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We changed the app from winter to summer at the end of April and therefore unfortunately the open/closed status for Zermatt/Italy was no longer displayed to you. In the winter season this information will be fully visible again for both Zermatt and Italy. Regarding the opening hours of the lifts, we are very happy to announce that we have recently integrated this info into the app.

1.This app will not allow you to enter credit card information. It keeps stating data error despite using the camera option to upload the credit card and I tried it with different credit cards and called my financial institutions and they advised me it’s not a problem with the card. 2. It closes out unexpectedly or at times does not allow me to sign in.

Worst ski mountain app

The main thing I want out of a ski mountain map is a good piste map. This app makes the piste map hard to find (it’s labeled as “panorama,” which sounds more like it’s going to show me a webcam). When you do find it, it’s terrible — it’s glitchy, it doesn’t label lots of things (like lifts and restaurants), it doesn’t show you where you are on the map, and it’s just generally unpleasant to use. Plus the app is full of a ton of other junk that’s just distracting.

Thank your for your feedback. We are currently working on a user-friendly version of the ski map. Nevertheless, the Matterhorn App is not a ski mountain app. The App includes lots of information about the whole destination Zermatt - Täsch - Randa and not just about the ski resort.
