Because there is no top. I’ve been playing for several years and still no where near #1 currently the top players have 35 million power I’m only 21 million there is no package you can buy to give you millions of power. The packages just help a player along. I wouldn’t suggest buying any starter package because in a month your troops will out grow the gear. Only at level 100 is final gear at that point if you’d want to purchase a multi purpose weapon that’s geared for level 100 fighters I’d do it. I’m a big pay to play player and yes I wish I could take back some early purchases but at the time it was awesome when buying them. That’s what it’s all about. Join a clan talk to the level 11 players see their suggestions you’ll find they all say never buy anything until troops are at level 100 but be warned…… when the game sees one level 100 troop in your shelter the power bracket the game puts you in is far and above anything your troops can handle. The right way to do it is leave your troops at level 85 upgrade to level 11 shelter build a full set gear for one level 100 when you have that train one troop to level 100 for that gear and rinse and repeat. Training all your troops to level 100 without gear the game will put you in a 20 million power bracket when your troop power is 11 million. (Not fun always losing!!! No upgrade package you can buy you’ve just douched your squad. Many players quit the game after this happens. Do it right and have fun! That’s what it’s all about. Pay to play players can not pay their way to the top it takes true grind. If you read this and are playing drop a hi I’m in the seal team crew.

The game runs very well compared to others of the type I’m currently two days in and was offered several of the bundles that pop up from time to time to make your fighters more powerful while the items do in fact work I like that I didn’t pay for them and just trusted my luck on the loot boxes you get from every mission you finish and I have actually been able to beat a few people in pvp that paid for those weapons with my gear because of the rolls I got on them(stuns, bonus damage etc) so I don’t think the game is pay to win at this point in time because I stand a reasonable chance of winning against other players obviously if you dump a few hundred dollars in you’d be ridiculously above anyone else but as far as standard gameplay goes it feels balanced it does take while to get new dwellers unless you breed every female in the base to get children and the money and food takes forever when you first start off but I can see how slowly upgrading the buildings will mitigate that in the future all in all it’s a nice way to kill time.

Okay, I’m not going to say this is a bad game, it isn’t, no ads every ten seconds, good mechanics, a storyline, but the pay to win is insanely high 4 no reason, I was matched with another who must’ve bought all the starter packs and he got crushed, again, we were matched, our armor and weapon stats were almost identical and he still lost after paying PHYSICAL money, to anyone reading this, don’t fall for the starter packs, sure, they’ll do you good at the start, but things like the fathers grenade and the lumberjacks stuff means nothing because your just going to lose a lot when you equip them. Also, can’t we just pay like, $10 for PERMENANY premium? That eats up money like a wildfire, same with the zombie assistant, if you want us to buy them, make them permenant, so we got a reason to. Lastly, the lumber, my god the lumber, I have the best defense I can muster right now, two rifles a chemist and a melee, I am trying to save up as much lumber as I can for the level 7 command center, but that’s impossible when I get raided three times a day by people 10x stronger than me! They steal all my lumber and I have to start over, and then it happens again! Please make it to where when you raid you only get resources and not steal them? Like when you raid, victory gives you resources without stealing from the other player, especially when they spent days getting that lumber but you just stole it from them.

I love everything about this game, complex strategy and team building, decent storyline, and I’m in a great Alliance that supports each other and participates in Alliance Wars (Z-Resistance feel free to send us a request) but my only problem is with the random difficulty of enemy hordes and the fact that lately it has been IMPOSSIBLE for me to get into an arenas match (10 player PVP tournament for those not familiar). I just got done trying to get into a match and my wait time was 53 minutes, we were at 8/10 and then suddenly it dropped to 6/10 so I gave up. I have tried for over a week now to get into a match so that I can complete my daily quests, and right now with the event going on it’s even more important for me to do the quests that are premium only that I paid to participate in! I can’t save up any arena coins or complete the arena based quests and I’m worried I won’t be able to reach the end of the reward list in time without those quests.All of this being said it’s a fantastic game but I don’t understand why I can’t match with anyone online, I’m not at the top level or anything, I’m at a modest 1.2M power with my squad, with a level 9 command center I believe.
