more This app is the best app for hackernews that I’ve tried on iOS and I’ve tried a couple of them. It’s so good I paid for the pro version and it’s even better with the latest update. I really like all the settings/options. One suggestion I would have though would be adding a right swipe to go back to the previous page(basically the opposite of the left swipe). Apollo has this enabled by default. Another suggestion would be adding the ability to swipe away the long press options or hiding those options behind an overflow menu because I always find myself accidentally long pressing comments and bringing up the menu.
Developer Response Today's update adds a button to the posts and comments to show the overflow menu. There's also 2 settings which you can use to disable the long press menu.As for right swipe to go back, I will add that in another update, need to do some research. Thanks.

No doubt this is the best HN app I’ve used but it doesn’t hold a candle to something like Apollo which I consider(ed) the gold standard for a link aggregator client.Tap targets are way too small, must but almost half of what the HIG recommends. I find it infuriating to try to tap the “…” or upvote button only to have it collapse the thread and rinse and repeat 3-10 times before it works.Reply notifications and logged in status in general is extremely buggy. I randomly get logged out so I’ll be browsing, go to upvote, and get a generic error. It’s at this point I’ll notice the “Downvote” option is missing but the app will still show me logged in. Sometimes the only fix is to kill the app and/or log out/in again. Similarly, clicking on the bell/notification icon will randomly tell me “You haven’t enabled reply notifications” which is a setting I’ve never toggled off, yet it gets toggled off on me without any action on my part.The app works well overall but interacting with posts and the inconsistent/buggy auth status drive me bonkers.

- Now, changing of system dark mode setting will not kick you back to the home page. So you won't lose your place when reading.
- Added support for matching system font size scaling. This will also not lose your place when reading. Tip: you can add system font size changing option to your iOS Control Centre to easily scale font sizes.
- Added a new setting "Matches system font size scaling settings"
- Added a new option "Toggle Theme" in the menu so you can change theme from anywhere in the app by tapping the ellipsis (three dots) menu button. Using this will turn off the "follow system dark mode" setting
- Tapping the status bar a second time can now undo the scroll to the previous location
- Added a new "Over N Points" endpoint to see only posts over N points
- Fixed a bug where new comments were missing newline characters and didn't have a timestamp
- Fixed a bug where Login/Register wasn't working directly via the app
- Made the textfields have a background color
- Item numbers now have a less prominent text color than the title
- Code blocks now have monospaced font and grey color
- You can now select and copy text of the parent post/comment in the Reply screen

- Upon request, added a new setting "Comment indentation color matches nesting level" which reverts the behaviour. This is off by default.

- The "Clear caches" setting now also clears out Documents & Data from the app's Safari View Controller. If you use the app a lot, then this Documents & Data can be very big. Clearing this cache should reduce its size. Note that this may also cause you to be logged out from websites or lose any website specific data.

- The app now gives haptic feedback when comments are expanded/collapsed. This can be disabled in settings.
- Added a new setting to disable the swipe right edge of screen to go forward.
- Fixed a bug where double quotes in CSV exports were not escaped.
- Added a new setting to completely disable swipe to go back.

Thank you for supporting me. Here's what's new:
- As requested by users, added a "Translate Language" option to context menu on comments and posts for easy translation. This is only for iOS and iPad. Not available on Mac.
- Note that a previous update fixed a critical bug which would intermittently cause the app to entirely freeze, stop responding to touch, and require restarting the app. To fix it, entirely rewrote the "Full Screen Swipe Back" feature to use newer APIs. If this bug still persists, please email me.
- HACK is supported on Mac, iPhone, iPad.
