I thought this was pretty well done. I had a little stumble with the app having an insistence to hold your attention on the screen that makes it look like you can go no place else until you sign up for a year which is not what I wanted.Once I got a handle on how to get out of that screen Things went smoothly. Download the Google Home app, Set up the Chromecast device and I was casting to it in no time. The only drag is that the mirror cast doesn’t handle landscape very well in fact at all. I think that might be the monitor but you’d think it would be better at that as all the monitors are 16 x 9 now. And users are casting at that aspect ratio just like movies played on the same monitor. Would appreciate your feedback on that as it is somewhat of a limitation

I had already purchased a screencast app for Google Chromecast. It's performance and UX was not what I was hoping. I thought I was just going to have to live with that app based on the other apps I found in my search. However, I tried one more time and found Replica Screen Mirror for Cast. Tiago offered a full featured trial so I took the chance. It was obviously the app I should have chosen first. Easy to use, supports audio, minimal lag. In addition, Tiago has moved to where the license supports usage of the app on both your iPhone and iPad - a fantastic benefit...one app, one developer, one account.An often overlooked feature to consider: Replica has a very responsive developer. As a result of being the sole developer, Tiago is extremely vested in the product and takes its performance and support seriously. He responded very quickly to a question I had and if you read all of the reviews of the app in the App Store, you'll notice this theme throughout the comments - "the creator deserves to be recognized", "SUPER fast response and very helpful", etc. Check the review comments and almost everyone has a response or comment from the developer within 2-4 days tops.The initial subscription includes a limited trial period and full functionality so I was able to test it thoroughly. I plan on purchasing the app outright because I know this is the app I will be using. It might as well be a utility included in iOS because it will be a set it and forget it thing - especially given the attention to detail provided by the developer.

I am wondering why you haven’t yet added support for using this on Roku? If you can make this work on the other platforms, you could make this work on the Roku as well. Please please please add Roku to the platforms that you can cast to! All I have is a Roku box. I don’t have a smart TV. I got this app several months ago, hoping you would add Roku so I could screen mirror to my analog TV that I hooked my roku up to. That’s because I can’t use it yet, because you didn’t add Roku, and the two stars are for how good it looks in the provided screen shots. I will give more stars once I can actually use it.

I’ve used quite a few in casting my screen to another device and this one has so far made it to the top, not sure how much is going to be after trial but I hope it’s affordable because it’s definitely going on my subscription list. Ooh I forgot a very import detail , holy cr**ap on the web browser in has which has blown my mind on how fast it is . I literally LITERALLY , have never seen my internet go so fast , and I live in a rural area , so I’ve tried fast and slow internet connections and I was experiencing something new , china speed internet . Insane . I hope it is always like this . If so , count on me to be paying for this until I no longer use the internet …
