GYDO was created by two expats, a South African in California and a Californian in the UAE. They grew tired of missing out on the big moments in their friends’ lives and they wanted a more personal way to celebrate birthdays, promotions, or engagement from afar.

From the point of downloading the app to gifting my first drink to a friend in another country, the platform was easy to setup, use and did not glitch out. My friend was able to purchase a drink at a local bar with no issues. Amazing concept. Will for sure be using it more. Cheers! 🍻🥂

I absolutely love having the ability to buy friends a drink at their favorite local spot. Too many times I’ve missed out on a birthday, get together, or celebration... now I can still support my friends and celebrate even if I’m not physically there. This is such a fun and easy to use app! Such a great idea!!
