I moved from LaJolla to Irvine in 2007 and retained my SDCCU accounts. I had hoped you would open more branches up in OC, but that has not happened. There is room on campus for an ATM MACHINE. UCI is over 30,000 students and many from SAN DIEGO county. The schools first link is not satisfactory. For example, their ATM machines will not take SDCCU checks deposits. Moreover the locations of your branches are not good. All require freeway drives from the university area, and at least two require toll road access,

Let me tell you something, they were right about that on the website. Any time, Anywhere the app will be "down for maintenance ". Gotta deposit a check at midnight cause thats when you got off? Cant do it! Gotta transfer money? MAINTENANCE surprise surprise. Dont say any time anywhere on ur website if the app only works during normal business hours. Honestly more convenient to just go to the bank. The app lets you see your money and thats the most reliable thing about it. 2 stars cause I mean I can atleast see how broke I am before I deposit my check at the bank the next say instead. Who cares if I have bills to pay or things I need to buy or money to move not these guys.

Not a fan of the mobile app—it feels outdated compared to other banks. U.S. Bank’s app has more advanced features and shows real-time transactions, while I notice some transactions here are delayed by a day. Managing multiple accounts is also inconvenient since I have to log in and out of each one, whereas other banks allow all accounts to be viewed under a single login.The credit union itself is great, but I’m not a fan of their mobile banking or ATM system. The ATMs also have a limitation of only accepting $20 bill, which can be frustrating.

I negotiated a pay-for-delete agreement in person with SDCCU and submitted payment as agreed. I was provided with a stamped borrower copy and met with a vice president, who confirmed the account would be deleted from my credit report upon payment.Despite fulfilling my end of the agreement, the negative tradeline still appears on my credit. I attempted to follow up through multiple channels — including email, mail, and in person — and received no resolution. My credit report continues to reflect a derogatory item that should have been removed per our agreement.This situation is damaging, unethical, and violates basic consumer trust. I expected better from a local credit union.
