I have been sparking for a little while now I was a little iffy about it at first. I heard about it from a friend so so I thought why not give it a try and now I do it. I try to do it daily. The best thing is if you can’t do it one day or two days or even for a whole week, you’re not obligated to you turn it off and you turn it on when you got some free time and the app makes it 100% I guess I’ll just easy. Everything‘s very explanatory even when you’re shopping at Walmart it tells you exactly where the items are if you can’t find the item and you’ve already asked an associate it’ll give you sometimes a second third fourth even more than that options for something else they make it very easy to contact the customer. I guess what I’m trying to say before I literally write a whole book is I absolutely love sparking the only only downfall for me which I love animals I love I don’t have any, but I like cats and dogs and birds and fish and etc., but I feel like it should be or have to be marked when the customer puts in a order if they have especially dogs whether they are in their house or outside, I feel like the person that is delivering the sparker should know this before they arrive. I feel like that is something that needs to be clearly stated when the sparker accepts an order other than that, it’s great. I have fun. I like it. I get to meet all kinds of people. five stars for the Spark app.

I love doing spark. Been doing it since inception and have seen a lot of wrinkles ironed out along the way however this one wrinkle is hard to take right now. I a bit disappointed in that it’s taking so long to resolve. In the middle of a shopping delivery I was loading my car and was prompted to do an identity check where you take a selfie which is not uncommon and is usually immediately approved. I sat in my car for several minutes waiting for the approval because I could not proceed to get the address info until that was complete. After so long I called support and was instructed to return the items to the store. A 2 hour ordeal because the store was refusing to take the items and support wasn’t very helpful. Eventually the store voluntarily thought to contact the customers and ask them to cancel the order on their end. One week later the app is still telling me my identification is in review. I contacted support again and was told I’m not the only driver with this issue. That doesn’t make me feel any better because they keep referring to the REAL identification review that I had already completed weeks ago making it seem like there is a gap in communication somewhere. Anyways just thought I should try posting the issue here in an attempt for extra set of eyes or help. Just thinking of all the money I am missing out on seeing the incentives that’s going on during my involuntary absence.
Needs work

The app is great for the most part. Navigates for you with only the occasional problem and shopping is a breeze. It does glitch up and send “phantom orders” and when these disappear you will get a metrics penalty. (I think this is unfair) other glitches require you uninstall and reinstall the app. I personally have a problem with the metric system- it doesn’t matter if an order is canceled, it doesn’t matter if the store isn’t ready with the order and it doesn’t matter if the store is not bringing orders out due to weather. If the order is dropped by for any reason in or out of your control you will be the one penalized ( I have been told that this is not true but my metrics say otherwise). Wait times at some stores are ridiculous- 30 to 45 minutes and although spark with pay you for the extra wait time it doesn’t compensate for the future orders you will miss, dropping the order after you have waited to long is an option but you aren’t guaranteed another offer. I enjoy the flexibility of sparking and the money isn’t bad…. There are just so many spark drivers and not enough “ good” offers. ( possibly because walmart decided to have an option for customers to pay a one time yearly fee so they DON’T HAVE TO TIP!!) The incentives are mostly fluff - small stores at odd hours ( like shopping at 5am-7am) or for businesses associated with them that I personally have never seen an offer from. In conclusion- this is a decent app for a side hustle but would be a hit or miss to support your family on.
Needs some new updates

I’m writing this review because there is no way to send feedback in the app at least not that I can find but i find that the app needs 2 good updates one being I wish it would give you from well your current location is at two. The total miles it takes to complete the order. I hate when you get a good order and you want to take it but you might be 20 minutes away from that Walmart and then it’s gonna take another 20 minutes to complete the order. I feel like should definitely update that to where it’s from your current location to how long it’s gonna take to complete the order as far as miles go and the second update they need to update the camera for when you have to scan IDs I have getting the ID to scan and I always have to enter the manually which takes a little bit of extra time and I just thought they need to update that that being said I think this app is very nice and laid-back. I like this more compared to doing DoorDash because they don’t penalize you for declining so many orders and so forth it’s just kinda nice and it’s a little bit more laid-back. I feel like and I just enjoy shopping so it’s pretty nice. That’s why I gave it a four stars because I feel like it’s lacking at least those two important updates that I feel like that they should consider and there’s also no way to send feedback in the app as far as I have seen
