UPDATE: leaving a review here seems to be the hack in getting refunded. They finally honored my request after numerous attempts of correspondence, but it wasn’t until I posted here that the issue was escalated to the right person. Grateful. This is a bummer because I actually like the app, but the company does not seem to be trustworthy. When I initially signed up, I had approved the purchase of subscribing for one month. Then, the website offers all theseu add-ons, one of which I was interested in. I intentionally declined the offer for a 1:1 coach because that’s not what I was looking for, and also the price seemed steep. I declined the offer. But then the website repeats the offer asking “are you sure?” as I clicked “yes I’m sure”, it thought I meant “yes I want this purchase.” Immediately, the charge went through! There was no secondary confirmation! They took my money without my consent, and when I asked them to please refund me for the error on their site, they pointed to a no refund policy! This is so shady! After countless attempts to get my issue resolved with their support team, the best they could offer me was 30% off! I keep explaining to them that they charged me for a service I never wanted and will never use. I would have been inspired to continue my subscription ongoing because I think the app is actually great. Unfortunately, they burned me by duping me into this personal coach purchase. Their absence of accountability indicates that this duplicitous mess was deliberate.
