Like many of the reviewers, I’m finding it impossible to get a reservation for lap swimming. Not sure how, but some members seem to have early access to the reservations - even if only for a second or two - which makes all the difference. It’s also obvious that these same people are reserving multiple time slots per day, further hindering those of us without the technical edge. Why do I say this? Because when cancellations occur they appear seconds apart for the same day. On Wednesday 7 different time slots became available for Thursday in a 20 second time span. The chances of 7 different people cancelling on the same day at the same time for 7 different time periods is infinitesimally small. The only explanation is people hoarding multiple spots on the same day then culling it to one that best fits their schedule. Even if the Y can’t prevent people from accessing reservations early, they certainly can program the app to limit members to one reservation per day. PLEASE FIX ASAP

Th YMCA is well organized by showing the different schedules the times for check-in and activities in separate tabs and giving you information about was available. They update you when certain spaces are being closed for service. With that you can find out whether or not you need to register for a course for you just need to show up and the app updates with an announcement about what is happening for certain periods of the years in particular for this summer what activities have started to become more available..

I downloaded and then deleted the app twice to see if it helped resolve this issue. I tried to create an account and when I hit submit button it would “think” then wouldn’t load the page and remained on the same page. I attempted to delete all fields and go back and refresh and still didn’t work. Then I attempted to see if I had an email address already on file and previous account that perhaps I already had an account but forgot I made one, I entered my email address and was told to double check spam folder for link to new password. It did not work, no email in inbox or junk. To make sure I did this multiple times. After to which I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Again failure on both attempts at either recovering a previous account or making a new one. Not sure what the bug is or if it’s a bug on my phone, as this-problem occurred to me on another website last night? Anyway perhaps it is the app so I don’t know but I’m deleting it again and not using it now.

I am a senior member for more than 10 years. A former dancer I am particularly fond of the yoga, stretch, and Melt classes taught by Jane Selzer. Her newly added Dance Movement class is thrilling and accessible for both the novice and experienced dancer. I enjoy other classes aimed at seniors and the regular population. I have observed how beneficial access to such a facility is for seniors. Aside from physical health there is comraderie here that boosts one’s spirits. Joselyn MUHLEISEN. Ps. OLIVER director of ??
