Great Gameplay, Great Artstyle

Let me just start with saying I NEVER write reviews for games. I just felt like I had to voice my joys with this game. The artstyle and storyboards are amazing, reminds me of Skullgirls. I’ve only played the first two adventures, but I’m really liking it so far. The turn-based deck building battles are fun and easy to get a handle of. However, I will voice a couple qualms about this game just so the creator can hear some critiquing and maybe make the game better :). 1st thing, note drops from enemies. I didn’t realize you had to tap to pick these up until I was in the second adventure. I think it should be an automatic thing because it’s hard to realize when going from stage to stage. 2nd thing, collectibles. I love the idea of the skins, Reinya is an incredible character and it just gives the player more art to appreciate. However, the paywall is a bit daunting. To tie into this, I’d recommend maybe making limited time events? Like you have to do a special adventure everyday for a week or a month or so, getting better rewards as it goes. Then, you get a special skin at the end. I’m aware that game developers have to make a living, I just think having an alternate way will increase the player base and make it so the players dedicate more time to the game. The branching paths idea is cool, but I feel like it would be cool if it had more of an impact on the story or on the dungeon-route. Maybe I’m just missing something, anyway tho, fantastic game! You did a great job! Hope to see some cool updates in the future! Please consider my recommendations and if you have not, DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!

It looks great, but it never provides any real challenge. I was able to beat every difficulty level, both standard and risky modes, on my first try, without much effort, and rarely relying on items. That’s not to say I want the enemies to be brutally unfair or anything, but each run ends after only three stages, and your build barely gets to amount to anything before it’s over. There’s hardly any opportunity, or need, for high-level cards, but collecting and building strategies around those is supposed to be the main draw of the game. I also earned most of the character upgrades already, so it feels like there’s no more progression to be had.Risky mode also doesn’t seem to be very well thought out. I imagine it is supposed to be more difficult, but the only difference as far as I can tell is gaining “mana link,” which makes your attack cards lose you life based on their level, while non-attack cards gain you life based on their level. That mostly balances out, so it isn’t actually any more difficult. It only serves to make high-level attacks worse to use, and high-level non-attacks overpowered, throwing off the game balance and limiting the cards you can use effectively, which I don’t think is beneficial.The game seems a bit buggy, by the way, with some mechanics not working the way they’re supposed to. Like, I’ll randomly lose Coil status after my opponent’s attack, or the Overdrive card will leave me with decidedly more HP than 2 times the number of cards I have on cooldown.

Pony Man Of Doom
I can honestly say this is one of the best game designs I have seen from mobile games in a while. At first, the design seems kind of generic, and underwhelming; after all, many mobile games have the same feel to them. However, as you play this game, you’ll learn that this game is pretty unique. Apart from the fact that your character can have a multitude of different playstyles (like the cooldown oneshot build or the vampire healthy build), you also notice that the game isn’t strictly pay to win. In fact, it demands you to have a strategic brain. Now of course, there is a purchase that makes things easier, but it barely does anything in the face of the overall skill based gameplay. The art of the game is bloody amazing, and is a good indicator that the creators really cared about the game. Although the game feels small right now, with time it’ll get more and more content. Try it for yourself and see if you like it.

I really like this game. I love the art style, I love the enemy designs, the environment, I just love it. The style and music is my favorite part of this game. The play style is really interesting, I always liked rouge like games, especially card game info games, and this is no exception. I like all the different decks you can build, and the fact that you need to play around with cool downs, (and health in risky mode) is which really helps this game stand out on any other rouge like card game. My only complaint is that it’s too easy, once you figure out the boss gimmicks you don’t lose a lot (except against Charlotte as a stage 1 boss, but she’s not too threatening if she appears as a later boss fight). The hardest part for me is getting started, but stages 2 and especially stage3 aren’t that hard for me because I already have my deck built, I don’t know if it’s just me but I don’t think that the enemies scale enough in strength or to punish you for playing certain gimmicks (like Time who was the first boss I lost because I stacked a lot of bleed on her). This game needs stronger enemies, and ways that they can counter you if you play a certain style (I played decks with a lot of bleed debuff so many times and won because none of the enemies except Time and Lucia have a way to deal with debuffs). Overall I like this game, and would recommend as an introduction to rouge likes.
