Introducing VocalTuner Pro: save unlimited songs, scores, and recordings, and remove ads — a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Start free today!
This is a tuner app that visualizes pitch and intonation over time.
◯ Basic Features
The app displays the pitch and intonation of incoming sound as a trace on the screen.
Try singing toward your iPhone—you'll instantly see how accurate your pitch is, including slides and scoops.
You can also tap the piano keyboard to play precise reference tones.
Perfect for vocal training.
Of course, it's not just for singing—you can also use it to tune or practice musical instruments.
It supports a wide pitch range from C0 to B7, making it ideal for practicing with whistling or voice-based instruments too.
◯ Audio Playback Features
Analyze and display the pitch of imported audio tracks.
By comparing the pitch of the original audio with your own in real time, you can train yourself to match the reference more accurately.
You can also change the key of the song during playback.
With the vocal separation feature powered by AI, you can split the vocals and accompaniment of the imported audio.
Play back "vocals only" or "accompaniment only" while displaying the pitch of the vocals—perfect for practicing along.
◯ Sheet Music
Import MIDI, MusicXML, or MuseScore files to view the score while it plays.
Sing along with the reference pitch, and practice with the metronome or by changing the key.
◯ VocalTuner Pro (In-App Purchase)
Even on the free plan, you can save and practice with songs, scores, and recordings (up to 2 songs, 2 scores, and 3 recordings).
Upgrade to VocalTuner Pro to save unlimited songs, scores, and recordings, and remove ads. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

This is the first type of this app I’ve used and I use it to analyze vocals in songs. At first, the scales were jumping all over the place and I wasn’t seeing the frequencies I expected. After playing around with the settings, I got the expected results compared to analysis found online. So, I believe it to be fairly accurate as long as you adjust the settings as needed for the song you’re analyzing. The missing star in my review is because I can’t use songs from Apple Music on my iPad mini (iPadOS 18.3.2) like I can on my iPhone 16 Pro. When I’m using larger note ranges, like C2 to G7, the display is so scrunched, I can’t read it. If I choose a larger zoom, the scales jump up and down too much, and I can’t read that either. Please fix this for the iPad mini and I will happily give it a 5 and pay to remove ads!
Best one on the App Store!

This vocal pitch tool is definitely the most accurate one I have tried available on the App Store. There are many great and well reasoned tools and settings. The interface is easy to use and easy to interpret at a glance and you can adjust it for your vocal range or speed. You can also adjust from 440 Hz to match a more natural vocal tuning. Depending on if you use your devices microphone or an external one, there can be a few missed notes and gaps. There have also been a few crashes when working with uploaded audio files. But it’s great that that feature is offered, and this is one of the few apps that is actually frequently updated and bug fixed. Definitely worth the purchase for the full version!
Great for learning to sing in pitch
Hoarfr0st
I really like this little app for helping me to learn to sing in pitch. You can scale it to show your entire vocal range on one screen. It’s also nice that you can select the musical scale that you’re using. Finally I really like the fact that it’s free to try and only a dollar for purchasing the app. There’s no monthly fees. I have a little tip in that if you trying to use the app you should set the scale in the settings. At first I found the screen a bit confusing but after I learn how to set the scale, It works great.
Must for choral directors!

I teach a volunteer choir. From time to time people come to audition who have trouble matching pitch. I’ve been wanting them to be able to hear and **see** where their pitch is in relation to a stable pitch. This is it! I’ve been looking for months for something like this. So well done and easy to use. I look forward to having my new members who are struggling download this app. They want to do well and this is the perfect tool!
- Added a part selection button to sheet music and MIDI mode
