Please note, this app is compatible with Paxton10 V3.3 and newer only. When used in conjunction with a Paxton10 system from Paxton, this app allows you to use your iPhone as a means of accessing a building. By presenting your iPhone to a wall mounted reader you will be able to control the Paxton10 system to; - Gain access to a building or car park - Carry out predefined actions within the system such as setting an intruder alarm This app allows users to have ‘virtual keys’ sent to them prior to visiting a building, dispensing with the need to obtain and carry a separate access card. About Paxton10 Paxton10 is an access control and video management system from Paxton. Built on a foundation of secure access control, Paxton10 knows where people are and allows the building to respond as required. Paxton10 combines security and convenience, and is suitable for all types of buildings. Paxton aims for engineering excellence, creating intelligent, innovative products that are fit to meet the challenges and trends of the quickly evolving security industry. This app directly supersedes the Paxton Key v1 app (discontinued 30th November 2022).

App keeps checking me in after being closed and getting access.

I love using the app to check in and get access to the building, however even though I close the app after being granted access and I’ve disabled run in the background it keeps checking me in repeatedly.The only way I can stop the behavior is to reboot my phone.

It works on my phone just fine, but not on my watch. When I open the app on the watch, it just says “no credential”. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on the watch multiple times and did the same with the iPhone app.

The worst app ever

I spelled a hot cup coffee over myself just trying to keep holding my phone against the reader when it clearly says you can run it in the background but doesn’t work and you have to stop what you’re doing on your phone and hold the stupid app against the reader and still would take forever to get access! I’m even considering moving out of my apartment complex if they insist on keeping this app

It was nice being able to use this app for easy entry but it is way too buggy. You never know if it will work or not. Don’t get me started with the Apple Watch. It never syncs. Or I thought perhaps the building is closed during the weekends but the management confirmed it’s open and to use this app.

Users can now manually sync their smart credential from their iPhone to their Apple Watch. Users will see a gentle in-app prompt inviting them to rate their experience. Updated the app to support iOS 18.6 and watchOS 11.6 versions, ensuring improved compatibility, performance, and security on newer devices.
