The quip app makes it easy to track and improve your oral care routine and earn rewards for good habits! Any toothbrush, floss, or mouthwash can be tracked, with extra points earned for using quip.
Note: The quip app is designed for ages 13+.
Everyday care
It’s simple: Good habits are the key to better oral health. That means brushing your teeth for two minutes, twice a day, flossing and rinsing regularly, and visiting the dentist every 6 months.
To help you stay on track with your daily routines, we made an app that rewards you every time you treat your teeth right.
How it works
• Pair a quip Smart Brush to auto-track how long & well you brush
• Or manually log your habits with any brush, floss, or mouthwash
• Earn points for tracking good habits & unlocking achievements
• Redeem rewards like free products, retail gift cards, refills, & more
Brush better
Once you pair a quip Smart Brush, it will automatically log every routine (no phone needed!) To review your brush history, open the app with Bluetooth on when it’s close to your brush. Or manually track date and duration with any toothbrush.
Floss & rinse
Cleaning between your teeth at least once a day is recommended by the American Dental Association, alongside a daily refresh with anti-cavity mouthwash. Track both to make your dentist proud and earn points!
Points & rewards
Stack up daily points for brushing 2 minutes, twice a day (1x with any brush, 10x with a quip Smart Brush!), plus flossing and rinsing. You can also earn bonus points for achievements, like logging 100 brushings!
Redeem rewards
Turn your points into amazing rewards from quip and our growing list of partners — updated regularly! Popular rewards include free products, retail gift cards, refills, sweepstakes entries, and more.
You sjj go oils get this because I got this for Christmas and this is my first time using it and I say it is so good. I love it it. It was so like every time 30 seconds past it will turn off and then go right back on and then like after two minutes like it was turn off straight off, it is amazing. You could choose a color. They got pink, purple, blue, gray white black they got all the colors and there is like you send the top of your brush or something like that in the mail you get something back or something. I don’t know all of it but you should totally get this. It is very cool. It will tell you when two minutes it will tell you in two minutes are up so good like I just finished brushing my teeth and like they’re clean they feel like a baby like I never brush her two minutes like I might just be starting bring this back-and-forth to my mom and dad‘s house and my mom‘s house and I don’t have my dad‘s which I should tell my dad about it because it is very good. I should tell my family about it and telling your family and friends too is, so good and you should also get it.

Meh not sure it’s worth it

Update. The app has completely stopped updating brushes even though my brush is synced and the app is updated. It hasn’t tracked brushes for the last 3 months and I submitted an email and no one has responded to me about the error. Definitely not worth it. The app itself works pretty well. Although it takes forever to update the points and track brushes and sometimes when I open the app it won’t load new ones at all. I’ve even noticed it just completely doesn’t track some brushes at all even once everything is loaded. But it’s not worth manually adding them. However I’m more disappointed in the rewards program itself, making the app pretty much worthless unless you really care about how long you brushed the top teeth vs the bottom teeth or knowing how many days in a row you brushed twice a day. I originally decided to do the rewards program to get free brush heads that were advertised with the program. There was nowhere that it mentioned you could only get one a year. And now there’s not even an option to get a free brush head. Even after that year is past. You can only get things like $5 or $10 off items or a free tote bag. I could care less about a tote bag, and most of the items you can get, they’re not something you really want to get multiple of. The only reward somewhat worth getting is the $5 target gift card but I don’t shop there enough to make it worth getting every time I have enough points for that reward. I guess if you want multiple dispensers or you shop at target or Walmart all the time it could be worth it. If you’ll even be able to redeem those multiple times.

The quip app is a very good toothbrush app, setting up an account is easy and I like the rewards program. However, like every app, this one has its issues. When I started using the app the night I got my quip toothbrush, everything worked out fine. So did the morning of the next day. However that night (technically it was that morning because it was 1 am) when I logged my second brush and the floss and rinse, instead of seeing all three icons completely filled out, all I saw was that I had completed one brush for August 27. I did not know that brushed logged before 2:59 am counted as night brushes for that day, so I ignored the issue the first time. Then on the night of August 27, when I had logged all my activities, I saw that I had NO brushes logged and had flossed and rinsed. So I logged out of my account and planned to delete it the next day and restart it. The next morning I decided to look at it one last time and the issue had fixed itself. It didnt take me long after that to figure out what was happening. For some reason, every time a full day is logged, the icons get messed up in some way, usually something to do with a brush not registering being logged. I have found a temporary fix which is simply to go to your account info, wait a lityle bit and then exit that page and the issue will be gone, but I feel as though you should never have to do that in the first place. And the second issue is a recent one is that I am no longer able to sign out of my account even if I wanted to because the HUD that appears at the bottom of the screen blocks the sign out button and I cant swipe any lower on it. Im pretty sure the HUD isnt supposed to be there when I am in my account info. While you guys should think to look into that issue, I think your apps doing great in all other areas👍

Great App

This app is great at doing what it set out to do —tracking & gamifying/rewarding good oral hygiene habits! I have a Quip Ultra, and it works great with the app. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, the bonus rewards help to motivated, and the tracking is a great way to monitor your habits. My only complaint would be that, if you brush your teeth on Monday but forget to sync the brush with the app until Tuesday, your brushing streak will be restarted. While the app will list the 2 brushes as having been completed on Monday, your streak won’t count them. I would like to see that fixed. In the future, some additional features I would love to see would be real-time guided brushing, try at maps your mouth and walks through the entire 2 minute brush. Although that might be something that’s more on the toothbrush development side instead of the app. The other feature I would love to have is brush head monitoring and replacement reminders. It would be nice to have the app track exactly when I last replaced my toothbrush head, and remind me when it’s time to replace it.

Brushing Reminders
Never miss a brush again! You can now set up personalized brushing reminders to help you stay on track with your oral care routine. Configure reminders to fit your schedule directly from the app.
Improved Firmware Updates
Updating your brush firmware is now more reliable and easier to recover from if something goes wrong:
- The app now guides you through troubleshooting if your brush can't be found or won't connect before an update.
- You can't accidentally exit mid-update, helping prevent interrupted installs.
- If an update fails, you'll land on a dedicated troubleshooting page with a Retry button.
- If you miss the pairing request after an update completes, you'll get a second chance alert with a Retry option.
Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Fixed a navigation issue on certain iOS devices where the back button was unresponsive.
