Plasmids X Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.
PRIVACY
Plasmids X has no account, no ads and no tracking. Your plasmids stay on your device. Data leaves your device only when you ask: a BLAST search sends your query sequence and contact email to NCBI, and a download from NCBI sends the accession number, your contact email and, if you set one, your NCBI API key.

Plasmids X 2.0.2 makes the app easier to learn.
• Help guide: a searchable guide to every part of Plasmids X, built into the app and available in all seven languages. Open it with the library's ? button, from a plasmid's toolbar menu, from Settings, or from the Help menu on Mac (⌘?).
• Tips: short tips point out map gestures, sequence selection, the inspector, the tools and new windows as you use them, each with a link to its Help topic. Show Tips Again in Settings brings them back.
• Welcome tour: a quick tour introduces Plasmids X the first time you open it.
• What's New: after an update, a short summary shows what changed. The tour and What's New open again from Settings and the Help menu.
• Tooltips: on iPad and Mac, hold the pointer over a toolbar button, menu or tool control to see what it does and its keyboard shortcut.
• Enzyme sites: select one site of an enzyme and its other sites light up too, on the map and in the sequence.
