I really cant complain about this app at all, I have about 12 editing apps on my phone and this one by far is my favorite. It has wide variety of effects and features, you can extract music which makes things so much easier and the tutorials are very helpful. I never thought that I would be an animator but this app has made it very easy to boost my graphic designs into a whole new realm! Its truly been exciting seeing how creative I can get with this app, thank you to all of the developers I truly recommend this app to everyone!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Ok first of all... Im not trying to complain much or anything, but this app isn't very good for edits! First A LOT of the stuff is premium and we have to pay money! Also, when u just get the app it takes u through a lot of things... I get that they r trying to show us how to do it but it's kinda annoying! And when I'm trying to make edits it doesn't rlly have the best stuff! *also I'm not a bot*When other ppl say it's good, they might be bots! I've even searched if it's a good app for edits, and a lot of ppl said it's not great and terrible.... So this is my opinion and when I mean edits it's for games! Like when I wanna do effects like rainbow it's not that good to be honest... I don't think I've had any glitches except for some reason it just takes me out of the game! I wouldn't rlly suggest this so if ur reading tysm for taking ur time bye!
Using Fonts a NIGHTMARE on this App…

This editor is awesome except for its antiquated & horribly-implemented font picker. NINJA: Why can’t we yet use the same SYSTEM FONTS already loaded & available in almost every other iOS editor except for Video Ninja? Why does Ninja require us to re-load every font all over again & even after loading a few, make us navigate thru the mess that results?Even after loading a few we require, we’re faced with sifting thru poorly sorted large buttons for EVERY SINGLE face (light, thin, medium, bold, oblique etc). These 5 faces just listed requires 5 font installs which then display as separate fonts mixed up among Ninja’s ugly preloaded fonts. Helvetica, Futura, Calibri, for example, should each be ONE font with each face grouped within that family. NINJA DEVELOPER: Please make it possible for us to access all our native, preloaded System Fonts in Video Ninja w/o having to reload them all. Their weights should be grouped by Family. This oversight has plagued Video Ninja for years. PLEASE clean-up this kluge. PLEASE. Otherwise, using text on this editor is a frustrating drag that should’ve been addressed yrs ago. Other than fonts, I really do love using this app, but I end up using other less-capable editors that manage fonts correctly.

Surprisingly powerful motion graphics editor

I’m not a Tik-Toker or even remotely that cool, but I have been doing media production since sometime in the mid 1980s, and have used AfterEffects since long before it was owned by Adobe. Motion Ninja is a startlingly powerful motion graphics application that allows me to create things on my iPhone and/or iPad that rival what I could create in AE.The interface is funky, to me, as an old-school video production person, but it only took me a while to get used to it. There are a LOT of effects available here, and while I’ve been playing with the app for weeks, I haven’t really even scratched the surface. But what I have uncovered so far is really quite excellent.That said, there are some things that need improvement, but since I’ve had the app, there have been a few updates, so I hold out hope that improvements are coming.The biggest issue I have is the loose way Motion Ninja plays with frame rates. You just don’t know (or I can’t figure out) how to adjust clips based on their frame rate. While the “Optical Flow” tool is great, there’s nothing as smooth as putting a 240FPS clip on a 24FPS timeline and slowing it down to 10% for perfect, slow motion. Maybe I don’t understand what they’re doing with frame rates, but I wish it were clearer. Let me set up a project to be a specific frame rate so I know what I’m getting.I also wish it had more robust support of higher bit-rate video formats, and that it supported HEVC+transparency. But, as I say, they do update regularly, so I’m hopeful they’ll include these necessary features soon.I currently use LumaFusion for all of my video editing projects, but Motion Ninja has become my go-to motion graphics app. Give it the ability to export 10-bit video and video with alpha, and it’ll be perfect.
