I love this application, and it’s very accessible, and easy to use. However, I am stuck on one screen that I cannot get past. It’s asking me to share my data with you guys to improve your guises products and the mobile app. It wants me to scroll to the continue button and I can’t go any further. Is there a way to make it so that voiceover can cooperate if there is a checkbox that can be added please? I would greatly appreciate it. I am blind, and visually impaired and I can’t see what’s happening on the screen and I may need your guises help. it looks like to voiceover when I select either share my data, or don’t share my data. It is grayed out and it’s dimmed and that is not supposed to happen. Is there a way to fix that? I’m setting up my new Ray-Ban Smart glasses for the first time, but I’m having a little problem. The Meta View app, is stuck on one screen, and I can’t go further than what I can do. I was able to create a meta-account with my email, and password instead of using the continuous Facebook option. is there anyone, that is willing to help from meta-support, and/or Meda Accessibility support? I never write bad reviews as I feel like it’s important to work with the developer to fix the problem instead of complaining online. But I am completely frustrated at this point by this app. I purchased these glasses for an amazing trip to Alaska. They worked great, in fact, the videos that I was able to upload are beautiful! However, after an amazing zodiac boat tour in a fjord that I took many pics/videos on the app will NOT OPEN. Not at all, immediate crash. I chat with “support” and their steps are go to app and log off. Impossible as the app won’t open. Next step, restart glasses. Ok, done. That does nothing for the app crashing. After being assured the non uploaded data will not be lost (the uploaded data goes into the app AND the camera roll if you set it up that way..fortunately, I did) I delete the app and reinstall it. Same issue. Crashes upon opening. The last suggestion from “support” is to wipe the glasses and start again, losing my data!! I am hoping this is something that can be fixed. I LOVE the concept of these glasses. But if I lose the videos of my trip, these glasses will be returned. I am happy to revise this review if I could get actual help with the crashing issue.FINALLY got the glasses to upload pics to app! My vacation pics were saved…the reason for the four stars and not 5 is that while the glasses are awesome…app seems glitchy (as you can see from my review above) I’m hoping it’s all resolved now but I guess time will tell and hopefully it won’t be so hard to retrieve vacation pictures in the future!

The stability and native integral functionality against the iPhone has improved dramatically over the last few revisions. The network disconnects now rarely occur, the dead answers (just a tone instead of reply) rarely occur, and the ability to access native iOS (Music, Messages, Phone dialing/answer/hangup) functionality is much more reliable. Today for the first time I had Meta initiate a phone call for me from my address book. That’s exciting.In terms of the AI functionality, the AI responses within Meta View still exhibit regular inconsistencies. At times, Meta states that it cannot access real-time information, yet in the same session it may provide current news snippets or weather updates. These responses tend to be extremely brief and lack the depth or summarization that would make them more useful. The AI messaging around its own capabilities can be contradictory, which is confusing for users trying to understand its scope of capabilities. I’ve noticed Meta putting in significant effort to improve its product since its early stages. In today’s AI-driven market, buying a product is more like investing in its potential rather than purchasing it as a consumer. The level of support a product receives as it evolves in capabilities becomes just as important as its initial capabilities. In that regard, meta Ray-Ban / MetaView is an impressive product thus far.

With practice you can guide Meta to create your own characters . Save some of your images or use your own. Then under video you can tell the prompt what additional things you want to happen. A lot of times the extend option can make a video last up to 21 seconds but results vary. Generally extend is good to continue to generate an environment for a moving car or person but some anomalies can occur. I simply save the last video before the worst “ corruption “ occurred. Sometimes AI will create a second duplicate of the same person or some other strangeness but with practice you can guide it closer to what you want. Tip: an image doesn’t have to begin with a new interaction. You can start with A man in a department store. When you get to video you can say the man walks forward and comes across some aliens. And as stated sometimes this works great, other times you may want to try again. If it works click on the video and see if extend can prolong your video. Always use the last best video or save the last one if they all turned out good.
