I love this card because it motivates you to reach small goals and rewards you for them. Everyone like to see progress and see incentive for it. The app is awesome because it’s a quick and easy way to lay and everything is right there for a quick and easy way to see where you are , make a payment and really be inspired to make payments on time manage your progress and empower yourself to budget and be responsible. It’s motivation and reward and somehow it just helps you want to stay on track. I have been more then pleased with the app it’s ease of use not over complicated. Keeping it simple and always encouraging which motivates you to be interactive and strive to achieve financial freedom and build your credit I am happy and more then pleased with my overall experience with this company and the app makes like so easy. Working toward a goal is fun. It’s a great card and a great app. I love this company and out of all the credit cards I have this is by far the one I stay on top of the most thank you for creating a way to look at my credit card in a different way.

I’ve had the BrightWay MasterCard for about one year now. I’ve had no issues so far. After each six on-time payments, a reward is offered. The reward is a credit limit increase or a reduction in the APR. Having the card for about one year now, I’ve just “earned” this reward for the second time. The first time, I chose the credit limit increase. I was a little disappointed with this “reward” as the credit limit increase was literally $50. I won’t lie, I was a little offended and certainly disappointed. I try not to carry a balance from month to month as I’m not really interested in buying money unless it’s absolutely necessary. Therefore, the credit limit increase, albeit small, was still the better option over the APR reduction. I don’t remember how much of a decrease was offered but I’m sure it wasn’t substantial. I hope the “reward” offered this time will be a little more rewarding. Either way, this has been my only disappointing experience with OneMain Financial and since I’m not owed anything, it’s really a non-issue. Of course, I have this card to rebuild credit after going through my own hardships. That being the only reason I would agree to have any credit card with a low limit and an annual fee. That is the cost of credit repair and expected. Of the cards in such a category, BrightWay has been one that has proven to be trustworthy and easy to deal with. There’s been no surprises and no shady, underhanded attempt at trickery. Unfortunately, from what I’ve read as I research any card I may consider, the same cannot be said for several of the credit building or credit rebuilding card companies. After one more year of on-time payments, BrightWay will stop charging the annual fee. So, two years of the annual fee ($125 per year X 2 years = $250) is the cost to rebuild credit through OneMain Financial and I honestly believe that is fair and reasonable.

There’s different reasons for being with a credit card that has a high rate and annual fee.. Mine happens to be that I sold my home when I retired. I always had close to an 800 score until I sold that house and no longer had a mortgage so I applied for this card and was granted it to increase my score so that I wasn’t forced into some ridiculous reverse mortgage situation to do some business transactions that I wanted to do.… When an annual fee comes due and you’re not actively using an email which has been said to your provider, a courtesy text would be app Chiate to not be over your limit regardless of it there’s a fee or not. It only makes staying below your limit easier, which is good business….. so other than the lack of communication about fees between Customer and card issue not too many problems, but the customer service seems to be a textbook, narratives spewed out at the disliking of the managerial people… Other words, the managers that I talk to whole heart of the agreed, but they’re bound by some paperwork… anybody who’s ever owned a business owned a business or whatever knows that rules are there to be broken when common sense prevails… The end

I had this card for a little while and a big reason I liked it was for the rewards system as most card companies offer smaller and more infrequent rewards. I was 5 out of 6 months away from my next reward when I get an email that my payment was rejected. This came as a surprise as my account that it always pulls from to this day has the full payment I made in the account. It was about 4 days after the payment was made that I got this notice and thus the rewards were wiped. I confirmed with my bank I did not have any negative balances and all my expenses were accounted for. I called the service line and asked for a 1 time grace if I made the payment immediately. Instead I got the cold “this is an attempt to collect a debt” and they refused to credit me the rewards. I had cards with much larger institutions that were better than this so I was appalled that I was treated like a regular delinquent. I had several people that I had talked to about how much I preferred this card to others and I’m going to tell all of them it isn’t worth it with service time that. It costs $0 for a 1 time grace for someone to make right on a miscommunication payment of which I’m still ignorant as I’m getting both sides saying they did everything right.
