Duolingo is dead. Lingo Legend is the only language learning app you’ll need to supplement your studies. If you are looking for a fun and engaging way to learn and study, this game is it. I rarely write app reviews but this one deserves it. The curriculum is great - similar to a lot of other language learning apps out there, and even gives you grammar notes too. But the best part is how the learning is integrated into an awesome and engaging game. There’s two game modes, both a farming simulator and a turn-based card battle game, and you can choose which one you like (or play both!). There’s so much customization here (which I love in games). You can customize your character/outfit, decorate your farm, breed adorable animals for specific traits, and even dress up your animals in cute accessories. Quests in the game are reasonably achievable in a short period of time, which really keeps you motivated. There’s guilds in the game where you can talk to your guildmates to practice your language with and build community. You can tell a lot of thought went into every detail when this game was designed. And most of all, this game actually seems like it cares the most about you and your learning, and not just trying to grab your money. You can still have a great experience with this game as a free player, and it doesn’t feel like they are trying to get you to spend money every five seconds. Ads are only there if you consent to watch them for more energy in the game, other than that it’s ad-free. I did end up upgrading to premium, but I feel that it’s absolutely worth my money, since I want to support the developers of the game. Fantastic work.

Hi! I’m currently learning French with this app and so far it has helped me a lot! I love the entire concept of this game! I love the farmstead and the adventure a lot! It is so fun but I have a couple suggestions. 1# Please add an accent helper. 2# Please make it so you can keep learning endlessly throughout the day. What I mean is you get 30 energy starting out each day and once you run out you can watch some ads for more energy for a while but eventually you run out of ads for the day. I don’t like this because I want to keep learning and doing the adventure, I know you can go to practice mode for more but that isn’t as fun or engaging. So please make it so you can keep watching ads for energy. :) 3# I would LOVE if you could have a little house! It could be a cozy little place where you can hang out with your naala. You could also decorate it and people could visit your house and chat with you! (Like maybe guild members) 4# I would love if you could add a feature where before you incubate your naala eggs you can see what they will look like, depending on the charms you put in. I want this because I bought a set of matching charms from Elijah and the naala looked gross and I would like to not make that mistake again. It would also help with things you do for Rosalie. Info for developers and people with ad issues from my previous review: FYI in case someone has a similar issue in the future. Sometimes nord vpn logs me out without telling me. Apparently logging back in fixed the ads on your app? I don’t even know but that’s what I did, so unless you just happened to fix it within the same five minutes I figured out I was logged out and logged back in, that was it. Maybe you can figure out a workaround, but if not at least you know in case it happens to someone else. I am considering buying the lifetime before it’s unavailable. We’ll see in Sept as my income is on a school schedule. I love doing that with newish apps I like. For now I’m just doing the free version. I think my favorite thing about this app is that it doesn’t force you to do some ridiculous commitment thing before using it. When apps treat me like I’m their child like that I am far less likely to use them because it disgusts me every time I log in. This does not do that, so I have no issue with logging in daily, which is nice as it doesn’t get in the way of me learning a language.

I love this app for learning a new language, it’s the first language learning app that has been able to hold my attention and keep me learning every day. I do wish that there were more quests and levels in the adventure tab, that’s the part that keeps me most engaged and losing the quest aspect of it because I finished the adventure makes it a bit harder to keep up with logging in every day as it feels like I’m just doing the same fights over and over again. [UPDATE!!! I have since learned the team has this in their plans already to expand the adventure section!] I love all the customization of the naala and the card game aspect of it, I do wish it was a little bit easier to earn coins on the farm as I feel like I get stuck on the same level for a long time even when I have finished all of the tasks to level up which can make it feel like I’m not progressing at all (this could just be a me problem because I can be a bit impatient with those kinds of things) [UPDATE] somehow I only just realized you can sell the naala milk which helps a LOT with getting more coins for your farm
