I bought the glucose kit and started using this app with it. It’s not very user friendly. I do like the glucose chart & readings page. Today I tried to save to the notes, logging the food & medicine like I normally do & it just says “done” instead of “save”. I can’t add notes at all. Very frustrating. What’s the point of the app of I can’t document my dogs medical information in the notes. Might as well continue doing in a notebook -less hassle.

It nice to have the app log BG values for you when using the PetLink+ and companion app. However the longer I use the app the longer it takes to transfer data from meter to app (which is pretty annoying) and I often have to import the data twice before it works. I assume the app is transferring all data each time and not just the new data. I might try deleting the meter’s data to see if that helps with speed. Other suggestions for improvement:1. Ability to sort Notes section. Currently notes are listed in the order they are entered. It would be more helpful to see them chronologically by the time you select. 2. Ability to download the Notes as a CSV3.View showing Notes (meals & insulin) plotted on the curve chart so we can better determine any correlations between BG values and meals, medicines, exercise, etc. I might go back to the spreadsheet method until improvements are made.

I own a meter and use their brand of diabetic dog supplies. So happy with everything. And if I ever had/have a problem, their customer services is always on top of their game and it gets resolved.

If the app worked, this would be my main glucose meter. But I have tried dozens of time to set up account to get the app working and it gives off continuous errors. Pettest is missing out on repeat business of supplies. We need an app with tracking software to help keep track of our glucose readings. It is really too bad, because we love that the meter requires much less blood than traditional meters, and the individually wrapped test strips are a great idea. But… Without an app. This meter is rendered practically useless. Too bad.
