Privacy, Kept Tight Lexy's privacy settings now always stay at their kid-safe defaults when you sign in or out. Ad-related storage stays off, as it always should in an app for children. Lexy 4.0.1 — Every Word You Get Counts Encouragement When You're Close Get most of the words right and Lexy now says so: "Great start! You got 4 of 6 words." Before, a nearly-right answer was met with silence — and for a child who has just worked hard, silence reads as failure. Now the effort gets named. Words Light Up As You Read Them In reading sentences, each word colours in the moment Lexy hears it. You can see progress as you go, instead of waiting for a verdict at the end. A Calmer Reading Session The session controls now live in one dock at the bottom, out of the way of the keyboard, and progress is a quiet hairline at the top rather than a bar competing for attention. Narration reads the challenge itself — and stays quiet when reading it aloud would give the answer away.
