The app seems to overall work fairly well. Though it’s easy to search for the business to claim a reward, it seems as though you should also be able to search your bank’s transactions to quickly locate and match the purchase. Or better yet, once you link your favorite business (Chipotle on Main St) to a how it shows up as a bank transaction (Chipotle #1055), why not have an option to always link to that same business and transaction going forward? It seems as though possibly this process is made intentionally harder on purpose, to limit users from taking full advantage of the program. ???It also takes up to a few weeks to get many of the rewards to post for some reason. Hopefully the developers can look into these minor flaws, as the concept is really great!

I’ve been using Open Rewards for a while now, and I have to say—it’s one of the best reward programs out there! The concept is simple, but the benefits are amazing. Whether I’m shopping online or referring friends, the points add up quickly, and redeeming them is super easy.What I love most is how transparent and user-friendly everything is. There are no hidden hoops to jump through, and the app/website is incredibly intuitive. I’m not sure why there are negative reviews, maybe more user error than anything. I’ve had an easy time navigating through app after reading instructions. When you go to claim credit it does take a few days up to a week to process funds, but i’m not complaining because it’s free money! Thank you for creating this resource and blessing us as we get to pour it into the small businesses in our community!

Know Your Limitations

The app works fine and I did get the rewards, though sometimes my claims sat pending for a couple of weeks. Perhaps more frustrating is the $100 annual limit. The limit was met within a few months and now I have to wait for my year to be over before I can use the app again. It’s just taking up space on my phone at this point. Also, the annual $100 limit is not per calendar year. So, I think it might be from the day I signed up for an account? I like the idea of the app, but it’s not perfect.
