Great game for work

If you’re like me and work in an office, this game is the perfect adventure for those in between moments. I like to have this game running while my phone is plugged in and sometimes I just check in to see how far my character has advanced. Like other auto mmo’s this game pretty much plays itself, automatically closing windows and completing quests. The really cool thing is that this game has auto equip as well, so you character never really falls behind. Great game.

From a completely honest observation, the wacky nickname mentioned in the review is my prompt summary of how League of Angels accurately strikes some aspects of mmorpgs and completely misses on others; there are many factors that need improvement, but many more to enjoy in the game, hence the decent rating. First of all, the classes are gender-locked and uncustomizable, which forms the most recognizable flaw with the game; everyone looks exactly the same on every category. Second, I don’t mind the auto, but why isn’t there an option to auto-scroll through dialogue so you don’t have to tap through it yourself? That’s another huge misfire: saving the boring task for the player to actually do when the auto function is intentionally designed to eliminate repetitive tasks. Third and final, I see no Hispanic, African American, or Latino characters; the characters are all monotone as well. Now for the hits? Stellar graphics, immersive gameplay (without auto), plenty of events and not-too-shabby sound fx. Solid 8/10.

Dead Servers Money Grab

The beta has been open for something like 36 hours and there are already 29 servers. That’s absolutely absurd and results in dead servers. There aren’t even enough active players on a server to fill one alliance. If you don’t care about alliance/team events or communicating with other players, this may be the game for you. The game itself is decent and has amazing graphics. No big surprise though, it is 100% P2W. F2P rewards are minimal. Rewards for spenders are among the worst of any mobile game I’ve played. They don’t even give out codes to make players feel like they’re “getting” something. Packs are ridiculous—the only packs are to recharge gold and they cost $10 USD for every 1000 gold. Increasing your power costs gold and well, you get the point. Players have already figured out how to exploit the game mechanics to top the leaderboards and get the best rewards—go AFK and leave the game running on auto 24/7 to grind kills for XP. This is the same game as League of Angels-Paradise Land. Same dev, differently spelled name. Read those reviews sorted by Most Recent and you’ll see where this game is headed. Save your money.

This game offers a lot of content. It keeps you engaged by continuing to offer up more stuff as you go, without needing to spend money. However, once you hit level 100, there are few, if any, rewards for having to push another hundred levels. You’ll have exhausted all the benefits and quests. At this point, you’ll mindlessly grind for months to make the next stepping stone. It is like the developers didn’t plan for anyone getting to that level so there is nothing to work for. Again, the rewards are engaging and encouraging up until that point. I’ve slowly lost interest since then. Full disclosure: I even spent lots of cash on the game and am still bored now.
