TRUSTED BY THOUSANDS OF INGREDIENT-CONSCIOUS SHOPPERS
Is your "clean" beauty actually clean? Personal care brands aren't required to tell the whole truth, and "nontoxic" is often just marketing.
Switch Natural puts the power back in your hands by decoding the actual ingredients, not barcodes.
WHY SWITCH NATURAL IS DIFFERENT:
• No Barcodes: Most apps fail if a product is new or if you're shopping online. Switch Natural reads the ingredients on the bottle or on your screen.
• Always Up-to-Date: Brands reformulate constantly. We scan what’s on the label right now—not what was in a database six months ago.
• Research-Backed, Not Opinion-Based: We don’t use arbitrary "safety scores" or confusing color codes. We identify potentially harmful ingredients and link you directly to peer-reviewed research so you can decide for yourself.
• 100% Independent: We have zero brand partnerships and no investor influence. Our only loyalty is to you.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Snap: Take a photo of the ingredient list (in-store, at home, or a screenshot online).
2. Scan: Our proprietary tech (Patent Pending) instantly identifies flagged ingredients.
3. Learn: Tap any flagged ingredient to see the "why" and access the scientific research.
4. Switch: Find a safer alternative in our shop of over 3,000 vetted products. Filter by retailer, brand, price, or popularity.
PERFECT FOR:
• Navigating the world of non-toxic living.
• Checking products for your kids and family.
• Deciphering long, unpronounceable chemical names in seconds.
• Shopping with total confidence at Sephora, Target, or your local boutique.
Join a growing community of informed shoppers who’ve stopped trusting marketing and started reading labels.
Please note: Switch Natural is designed for personal care items like cosmetics, cleaning products, and kids' products; it is not intended for food or supplements. Patent Pending.
If I could give this app 1,000 stars, I would! It is rare these days to find a resource that you can actually trust. Unlike other similar apps that often downplay the severity of toxic ingredients because they get funding from the companies that use them, Andrea can never be bought! The cost of the app is such a small price to pay for the peace of mind knowing the creator of it will never take a single penny from a big company to skew the data. Andrea is a regular person just like us. A brilliant mother who does an incredible amount of research, constantly updates the app with new findings from reliable resources, and truly cares about helping others find the least-toxic and safest products for their families. I have recommended the SwitchNatural app to countless friends and family members, and now I’m recommending it to you too! It’s a must-have! Still on the fence? Follow her on Instagram for a few days to see how the app works in real-time, get to know the woman who created it, and then come back here and get it. You won’t be sorry!
Just get it! You’ll love it!

I never write reviews, but this is an amazing app that is exactly what you want and need. It’s incredibly difficult navigating ingredients in beauty products. Just when I think I know what to watch out for, there is always so much more to learn. This is an excellent and easy to use app that takes all the guess work out of it. It’s super simple to scan labels or images and works extremely well. The app informs you about any potentially toxic ingredients and why based on research. This allows everyone to make educated purchases in the future. The shop feature is super handy to have too because there can be discount codes on recommended products if you’re struggling to find a type of item that is non toxic. Get the app, it will make your non-toxic journey so much easier and you won’t regret it!
Amazing app. Sad to see it go subscription vs one time payment.

I have been using this app for maybe two years and love it. No silly score system like other apps. You just scan a picture of the ingredients and it tells you what it finds that could be a bad ingredient. You can then click on each ingredient, get a summary and even links to articles on why it might be bad. From possible contamination with toxic ingredients because of the manufacturing process to being a possible carcinogen and more. Just make sure to get a good picture since rounded text like on some bottles can’t be read by the scanner. It’s best to go to the product page online and take a screenshot of the ingredients. I find this the easiest way to scan. Manufacturers can change ingredients at the drop of a hat and by scanning the ingredients versus relying on a score on some website I feel more confident than I’m able to find clean products using this app.
Every day essential. Knowledge that empowers

I have used the switch natural app almost every day since I purchased it. It’s empowering to understand that wild words listed on the back of your health, wellness, beauty, and home products. Don’t fall victim to greenwashing - those advertisements for clean and all natural producers are sometimes farthest from the truth. The US is very loosely regulated when it comes to chemicals and preservatives. You look at the health of our population and a lot of it can be traced back to the toxic burden and inflammation from daily products. This app is user friendly, straight to the point, with an opportunity to dig into case studies to learn more about the chemicals and toxins you should watch out for! Love yourself. Love your family. Stop wasting money on items that contribute to you not feeling your best. Get this app.
