I’ve been self-teaching on my very basic Donner e-drum set. There was an app on my Mac that is very similar but the songs available to play were limited and it was more expensive. I think like $30 a month. I was just looking for an app with drum tabs and midi soundtracks. I saw this and thought there was no way I could just easily plug it into my iPad and start playing. Maybe if I had a Roland or more premium drum module. It really was just plug and play. There’s no (noticeable) input lag either. I’m really impressed with it. Being in software development myself I can’t even fathom what goes into the backend of this app. I also like there’s a way to request songs to be added. I’m not sure how busy they are or what licensing issues arise for that. But it’s nice they have it. Really feels like the developer cares about their customer feedback and improving their already great app!Edit: I just realized you can learn each section (I kinda didn’t pay attention to the tutorial which shows you that😅). By far the greatest feature of this app is while you’re in this mode, you can select loop. Which will, like the name says, loop that section of the song for you. But that’s not the best part….it automatically adjusts the speed depending on how well you perform during the loop!!! I’m learning The Leaders on the max level (difficulty basically) and I can’t wait until I nail the whole song. Going section by section and I just practiced for the last 3 hours. I wanna keep going but my hands are going to cramp😆. Get this app, especially if you are learning on your own

Downloaded the app and had a few problems with connecting it to my drum module due to not having the correct cords. Emailed the customer service staff and they were SUPER helpful in giving me the direction I needed to get the correct cords to connect my phone to my drum module. Furthermore, the app is EXCELLENT for beginners AND seasoned drummers alike to help with their drumming techniques. I will recommended this app a million times to anyone who is interested in drumming or has been drumming for years. It’s really that good!

I have a basic Alexis mesh kit that came with drumeo….which only made me intimidated to learn. Luckily I came across this app & it’s great! Been using it everyday for a month and I can follow along to any random drum sheet music I find online now bc this app’s lessons and practice songs are so good and helpful! So many ways to learn. Just waiting for higher level official courses cuz im already on level 6 so I’ll run out soon haha.
Failure to launch

So far I’ve tried downloading the app on two separate devices and each time it says network error, failure to connect to server. I’ve checked my network, I’ve checked on multiple devices. When I went to contact the developer through the app it claims I need to enter my email in the correct format. It is in the correct format. So essentially I’ve downloaded an app that doesn’t work and I have no way to get ahold of the developers.Update:Developers have reached out to assist, but no change in functionality yet. I still am not able to even use the app.
