I love this app! It’s a hidden secret. So simple and so useful. It also helps me use my time more useful. No better place to have a reminder that the object we look at so many times a day. I use it for count down reminders to an event and how much longer is to the end of an event. Such as next travel date ✈️ count down and an other one when I travel back. some other items I use this for: - weddings & big events - birthdays/birthday parties - other people visiting arrival and departure - how much time I have in a day to be productive - how long since my last workout (I have a habit to set it after each workout) - kid school events - etc I even put this on my school aged kids phones so they know when an event is coming up. No more “Mom, how long until my birthday/upcoming trip/friends birthday party/any school break and more. The only feature I would like is an alarm / notification feature when the moment has arrived. Pretty Progress gives some reality and understanding to an abstract concept of time and makes it more valuable. And it’s pretty too.

I chose to quit drinking alcohol to remove an unnecessary poison from my life so that I could focus on my health, career, and to save money. Having this app widget on my screen everyday showing not only how far I have to go but more importantly my process thus far has been such an incredible motivator to keep going. The way the app and widget are set up is perfect in every way from accessibility to its layout/appearance. I have attended multiple brunches and grabbed dinner a few times to celebrate friends promotions, engagements, etc and caught myself thinking that one cheers and sip of champagne isn’t a big deal but then looking down at my phone seeing that I was almost to my goal date and my progress circle was almost closed was enough of an incentive to grab a sparkling water instead. This app is on my must have app list and now that I hit my first goal I decided to add more time to my sober goal with confidence towards accomplishing it once again thanks to this clear no nonsense visual daily reminder.

First, you ask for feedback but I’ve written at least 3 times this year and never heard back. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe your feedback is going into your spam folder? Either way I’ll leave a little feedback here. Don’t worry I want penalize you with a low rating. But know a simple acknowledgment is worth its weight in gold. Developers may have no idea how much a 20 second email means to their users to keep them engaged and using tbeir app. But again because you are so consistently enthusiastic about receiving feedback, it seems you may simply not be getting some emails. As far as the app goes it is first rate. I especially appreciate the large widget that can show the next upcoming events and integration with the system calendar. Some of the things I’d most like to see in future updates:1. Be able to see the amount of time left once a timed event begins. For example — be able to see how much time is left in the work day once the day begins (on the watch especially) or when a vacation starts — how many days left? 2. Custom notifications for events based on their calendar (before and at end of the event) and ideally during so we could set up reminders for things like break times. 3. URL support for system calendar events. So we could tap a link and go directly to the event url (and work just like the system calendar does with callback URLs as well). 4. A few colorful and variants of the default app icon to choose from would be a nice touch.That’s all I can think of at the moment. Other than that the app remains on my Home Screen widget. I used the free trial, quickly subscribed, and I plan to stay subscribed indefinitely. Zero regrets on the subscription. This is one of the very few apps I can say that about, so that’s saying a lot. The Apple Watch complications are the most important feature for me, a killer feature to have the events right on your watch face. Very happy with this app! Developer recommendation: Please create a “randomize” colors button, where you can keep clicking the button until you get a color combination you like for the selected event. Also, do you think it would be useful to create a method for users to make suggestions outside of an App Store review? Something like a button in settings to suggest new features? I think there are services for this for apps. Thanks for the great app!
