I have been using the service for several years now, and absolutely love almost everything about it. It brings such joy to so many people and although I hate the fact that people don’t write cards much anymore and send them through the mail, this is an amazing alternative. The customer service representative are very helpful and quite lovely themselves.There is one problem, however, I sent so many of these cards that I’m running out of choices because many go to the same family and they all see the of the relatives. When you want to send a card, you want it to be something the person has not seen or received before. There needs to be more of a selection more that are funny. Thank you so much though for everything because people absolutely love them.

I love this app especially the SmashUps but I love it even more now that we can type the recipient’s name in some cards. Unfortunately, not everybody’s name was in the selections offered so this is just a great addition! Even if you choose to subscribe I think it’s worth it. A really nice card at the store is like $5 & up, this app makes it so easy to send and offers many different occasions. Honestly, seeing a loved one’s handwriting on hand written cards is wonderful keepsake but also appreciate the convenience and instant joy these E-cards provide. I never write reviews but felt compelled to share how much I love these (and no I wasn’t paid for this lol).

I’ve been using the American Greeting Card app on iPadOS for several months and, at first, it worked beautifully. I could create and share cards with friends on Facebook without a hitch. But now? It’s a broken mess.Here are the major problems:1.Social Media Sharing No Longer WorksAfter successfully sharing several cards, the app now crashes every single time I try to share one to Facebook. It locks up immediately after selecting the recipient and clicking “Share.” What ends up posted is just a static image of the card’s cover—and clicking on it gives an error saying “content is no longer available.” Not a great look for a greeting card app.2.Same Problem on the WebsiteThinking it might be an iPad issue, I tried using the web version instead. Nope. Exact same issue. So it’s clearly a platform-wide failure, not a user problem.3.Forced to Log In Every TimeFor some reason, I now have to log in every time I open the app. That didn’t used to be the case, and it’s gotten very tedious. I’m not sure if this is a bug or some new “feature,” but either way—it’s frustrating.At this point, I’m done troubleshooting. This app went from useful to unusable. If it doesn’t get fixed soon, I’ll be deleting it and moving on to one of the many competitors who seem to have figured out how to make an app that actually works.

Favorite features: decent selection of cards, the app has ability to track of events, birthdays, etc if you allow, and easy to use. I use this fun app all the time. Unfortunately, there are several names I need not listed and not many options for adding a name. And the very limited card selections that you can add a name aren’t applicable in the Smashups. (I do hope they get more fun Smashup options with or without the option). It appears they continue to build the name list. There are so many names and spelling variances I’m certain it takes time. There are times I get an “oops” pop up box that something is wrong with their system so they can’t show the preview, or sometimes unable to send a card…but that is usually quick. All in all it’s a great app!
