With Rejsebillet you can buy tickets and commuter passes for bus, train, metro, and light rail in all of Denmark.
If you are travelling one time from A to B, you can buy a ticket by entering your point of departure and arrival and complete a purchase. The ticket is valid for one progressive journey on the route shown on the ticket. If you accept localization, your point of departure will be your current position by default.
You can also buy a zone ticket. It allows you to travel unlimited with bus, train, metro, and light rail in the selected zones within a certain time period.
If you buy a Commuter Pass you get unlimited access to journeys by bus, train, and light rail within a specific area and a certain time frame. You can choose to buy access to DSB 1’ as an addition to your Commuter Pass. On Zealand you can buy a Commute20.
If you travel in the capital area and want to travel by metro with your commuter product, you can buy a metro supplement as a part of your pass. If you chose not to buy metro supplement with your pass and want to travel by metro a given day, you can purchase a supplementary metro ticket to gain access to the metro from day to day.
It is also possible to buy a ticket for your bicycle if you are travelling with the metro. You can also buy a supplementary ticket for DSB 1’ if you want to travel first-class by train from day to day. Each product requires that you already have a ticket that covers your journey.

Great app! Thank you! Perhaps one feedback from an user with a smart phone with a small screen: Increasing the font size, in this way the bus driver can read it easily. The driver has only few seconds to read it.

Hi Murayh,Thank you for your 5-star review and comment. We will take your suggestion to the relevant department and let them look into options. Until there may be another solution, you can enlarge your screen for the busdriver to see better :-) Have a safe journey - all the best, Anna
Having to receive an SMS text every time you buy a ticket is idiotic and unnecessary

Just get the Rejsekort app where you can use Apple Pay. You also get a discount during non peak hours. The Rejsebillet app is awful. They also charge you full price even during non peak hours. Nowhere else in the world have I had to receive an SMS text every single time I do anything on a public transport app. You need one to sign up. You need one to add a payment method. You need one every single time you buy a ticket. This may be fine for people who live in Europe but after I’ve already paid for a data only eSIM and don’t have easy access to SMS texting (unless I’m on WiFi) it becomes a huge headache. I’ve used public transport regularly in places like Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, and Switzerland and never found it difficult at all. They even discontinued an app that worked fine (DOT tickets) and forced me to use this app that is inferior. I since learned about the Rejsekort app option thankfully. Yes there are paper tickets and maybe you can buy tickets on all buses if you’re carrying around a bunch of Danish currency but it’s so much easier to have the ability to use your phone to buy tickets. Also, you can’t buy a ticket in advance as it instantly activates on purchase which would be another way this stupid SMS thing could be mitigated but no help there either. This app is an extreme disappointment and should be avoided unless you like paying extra for something that barely works. I will never bother to use this app again if I can avoid doing so and I suggest everybody else does the same.
Completely insane. Inaccessible service without danish number or danish bank

Someone needs to explain basic access to public transport to these idiots. There are thousands of non danes living in denmark. Well apparently not according to the unethical people who designed this with zero reasonable options for them to simply use a city bus. I'm completely flabbergasted, and looking at how they respond to the many reviews stating the same is very educational. It's always a shock to observe the many ways how far Denmark/Copenhagen is behind a majority of normal EU cities in terms of technology and basic human rights. Like this is 2026 😂😂 The rest of the world has figured this out, can you join our century?
App requires EU phone number - not disclosed for international travelers
PigTree
The app doesn’t work for international visitors as it requires an EU phone number to purchase tickets, but this isn’t clearly stated upfront. I discovered this only when trying to buy tickets at Vejle station, forcing me to use an expensive ATM to get cash for the bus driver instead. For an app serving Denmark’s public transport system that many tourists use, this is a significant barrier. The app should either support international phone numbers or clearly warn non-EU visitors before download that alternative payment methods will be needed.

Hi PigTree,Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, some contry codes are not available at times. There are other apps offering tickets plus ticket machines for buying physical tickets, or the option to buy tickets on the bus. If in doubt please call our costumer service at 70113333. We hope it works out. Best regards, Anna, Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S
