One of the issue I find is that the app keep taking me out and need to sign in again and again extremely very often, another thing is that there must be a link to the listing, this way when we are showing a property and we need to see any description we don’t have to open Zillow or other MLS to find the information.

Step back from old app

I used this during the beta and gave feedback but it was not implemented. This app has flashy add on features but for just scheduling appointments it does not work as well. Something simple like the fact that the old app would automatically complete the address once you type in a few letters is missing. This slows down the process and the fact that it autocompleted provided valuable feedback that you were typing the correct address. Now you type the whole thing, hope you don’t misspell then hit the button and hope for a match. Before the date and time were right there together and easy to see and use. Now you have to click around in various places on the page to set the appointment. You used to immediately see if it was a go and show or if an appointment was needed. Now you have to click in to find out. No recents when setting appointments. Want a second showing? Type it all in again when it used to be one click. There are other little things but I guess the people who write the app don’t actually use it and don’t care to listen to feedback.

Poor design

The chief concern is that the interface is poorly designed. There are multiple sizes of fonts; apparent controls that do nothing (I’m looking at you < next to Dashboard); truncated text on screen on a brand new iPhone; half of the main screen is dedicated to schedule management and a calendar; appointments are labeled Unassigned for some unknown reason; the appointment schedule interface is cluttered and clunky to use; there’s a notification alert (on both versions of the app interestingly) that I cannot find anywhere on either app to see what I am supposed to be looking at. In this state, it is a downgrade in ease of use, ease of navigation and overall appearance. This app needs beta testing and a lot of refinement to improve. Do better.

Zillow Buys, Takes Step Backwards

Typical of most Zillow acquisitions ShowingTime has taken a step backwards since falling under the Zillow conglomerate. If you want to do a Showing Cart make sure and have your computer with you because you can’t do that from the app. You have to schedule those showings or individually. So, you do it from your computer, you can then view those showings from the app, right? Sure! As long as you force quit the app so that it will sync properly again… All they did was take the old app with all of its problems and give it a new look with those same problems. Typical Zillow. At least they didn’t make it worse like they did with dotloop.
