The “touch” targets and buttons are big enough that it’s relatively easy to activate them without making mistakes. The main search bar now adorns the bottom of the window. There’s a search history panel that makes it easier to access past searches through large buttons instead of trying to type. I couldn’t correctly clear out the search history in that panel, but I expect that it may be a feature that’s coming soon.The features here don’t require augmented or virtual reality, but it’s great to have the app here because many people are using their devices to watch movies and television. Generally, if you’re happy with this app on other platforms, you’ll probably also be happy with it here because the quality is similarly very high and it follows native platform conventions.

There are dozens of others and even IMDb has user-generated content (reviews, trivia, goofs, etc) that this app can't compete with. I realize this app links to IMDb but it's a disjointed experience and especially odd, considering this app is touted as better than IMDb but then uses IMDb as a crutch. I would turn on a dime if this app offered radically better UI than competition or features that none of the others had. Give me advanced power-user filters that let me filter by runtime and other metadata. Give me a way to tell which movies an actor stars in, not just movies they appear in. Spoiler hiding is cute but not enough. There's a lot that could be done that wouldn't require more data (see Reelgood's Cue, Reels, Roulette, Search Party, etc) but ultimately I worry that TMDB isn't a good enough data source and will limit this app in the long term. In the short term, I hope to see significant UI enhancements and/or clever features that no other apps have. NEW FEATURES
- Callsheet now caches your pins, so if there's an issue with iCloud, that shouldn't cause you to [appear to] lose all your pins
- When you look at the details for a movie/show you're actively watching, Callsheet will show progress meters to indicate how far you are through that movie/show. Additionally, instead of showing the runtime, Callsheet will show when the item will end. (To see runtime and remaining time, tap on "Ends At")
- There are now two ways to get Plex information in Now Playing: Passive (the way it's always worked) or Active. To switch to Active mode requires logging into Plex, but is *far* more reliable for playback of local content.
IMPROVEMENTS
- Errors should be far less of an eyesore now
- When cold starting the app, while the Discover screen loads, it should rearrange what's on screen far less
- Better handle missing posters on Discover
- When copying an error report to the clipboard, the Callsheet deep link URL is included
- When viewing a TV show in Channels, jump to actual episode when tapping on an item in Now Playing, instead of just opening the show

Callsheet version 2026.4 doesn't have a long list of changes, but what's there was A LOT of work. I'm very proud of it, but if you have any troubles, please feel free to use the in-app mechanism to send feedback.
NEW FEATURES
- All-new iPad landscape layout that makes far more efficient use of the space. This also applies to macOS and visionOS.
- Support for Jellyfin in the Now Playing view. Note that this does require authenticating with your Jellyfin server; see the Callsheet website for details.

This release is a fast-follow to 2026.1.
In this release, 2026.2, I fixed a bug [that I also created] that prevented age calculations from showing in movies more than 20 years old.

A lot of work has been done on Callsheet over the summer and early fall to make it better than ever. I appreciate your patience as I worked to bring things to a place where I'm proud of them. If you encounter any issues, please use the in-app feedback feature (located in Settings) to let me know.
Callsheet now requires iOS 18. For users still on iOS 18, Callsheet continues to work with iOS 18; however, most of the visual changes below are only applicable to users running iOS 26 or later.
The icons have *not* been updated yet; those will receive updates at a later time.
VISUAL REFRESH
- Refreshed to fit in with iOS 26 and Liquid Glass design
- All-new search affordance at the bottom that lets you quickly swap between searching films/shows/people, OR searching the particular film/show/person you're already viewing.
- Moved Recent Searches onto the Discover screen, below Pinned Items
- Moved Search History to the top toolbar
- When viewing a show/film, you can now see a union of cast & crew credits by using the drop-down on the left and choosing "Everything"

- You can now search for films that two people worked on together. Tap the "Find shared film credits" on a person's details. Note this only works for films and not shows.

- Slightly change the default icon. The original is available in the in-app Settings → Persnickety Preferences → App Icon.
- Hide search box when an image is zoomed in
- Some refinements to the TV season carousel: when a show has only one season, the larger button is used — the same as multiple-season shows; when a show has more than 10 seasons, the dates of those seasons are now shown.
- When you scroll laterally in the main/Discover screen, and then drill into a movie/show, and then return to Discover, it should remember[-ish] your scroll position.
- When you are in an episode view and switch between Guests/Cast/Crew, and then drill into a person, and then return to the episode, your prior G/C/C selection is no longer ignored
- Tapping an item in Search History will move it to the top of the list.
- Fix edge case where, if an actor was in a show and movie with the same ID number, only one would show on their filmography. In this case, Bruce Willis, Die Hard, and The Ellen Degeneres Show

Add heights to actor screen, where possible. Not every actor will have their height listed, but many will.
The units are specified by your phone's settings. Within the Settings app:
General → Language & Region → Measurement System
However, to see the alternative unit, simply tap the actor's height. If the height shown is in feet/inches, the popover will show centimeters, and vice/versa.

- When you do a pull-down-to-search, the app will scroll to the cast list automatically; this is particularly useful for regular-sized phones

NEW FEATURES
- Callsheet now caches your pins, so if there's an issue with iCloud, that shouldn't cause you to [appear to] lose all your pins
- When you look at the details for a movie/show you're actively watching, Callsheet will show progress meters to indicate how far you are through that movie/show. Additionally, instead of showing the runtime, Callsheet will show when the item will end. (To see runtime and remaining time, tap on "Ends At")
- There are now two ways to get Plex information in Now Playing: Passive (the way it's always worked) or Active. To switch to Active mode requires logging into Plex, but is *far* more reliable for playback of local content.
IMPROVEMENTS
- Errors should be far less of an eyesore now
- When cold starting the app, while the Discover screen loads, it should rearrange what's on screen far less
- Better handle missing posters on Discover
- When copying an error report to the clipboard, the Callsheet deep link URL is included
- When viewing a TV show in Channels, jump to actual episode when tapping on an item in Now Playing, instead of just opening the show

- Fix issue where Callsheet would eagerly show an error of "cancelled" even when it shouldn't
