It works but not always. Needs better live status of train or bus late or early times. Also bit persnickety with addresses. Often it doesn’t like the addresses I get from Google Maps and I don’t know what to do to alter the format so it will accept them. Not a perfect app but it is the only official app for BVG. It is bad at showing where the bus stops are when transferring between services or where the train entrances are. I have missed connections several times after following signs from the train up to the street but then no signs directing you to the bus stop! It also needs a middle layer map for the walking around part you do from the street to the train, and from the train out to the street. I often miss connections because of the maze of tunnels and hallways you have to navigate blindly after you exit the train.

Thanks for your detailed feedback! 🙏 We totally hear you – we know the live status could be more reliable, and we’re working on improving it. We also understand your frustration with navigating between services. We’re taking your suggestions to heart, and we’re constantly working to improve the experience. Stay tuned – we’ve got big plans for making those transfers and connections a whole lot easier! 😊
App crashed when I was getting controlled on the train!!!!
Uhmmm33327884217
The app crashed and wouldn’t open when the ticket checks began on my train and now I have to waste time going to the customer service to explain this problem and the 60 euro ticket. I’d advise any traveller to avoid using this app if you want to feel securely about your train travel. Remember, the train controllers work on weird incentives. They get paid based on a quota system of how many people they stop! They will still write you a ticket even as they see difficulty. What’s more, I couldn’t go to the DB customer service on the same day that I got the ticket. The train controller’s notes must batch every night to DB because they didn’t have them. You can’t even go to get the ticket rectified until 2pm the next day. For the app developers, you really need to get this right so you don’t inconvenience travellers and tourists with these app crashings!!!!!

Can’t add payment method

The new version came with a new design and it is really bad. The “clean” approach makes hard to understand what is currently selected and what will be changed if I click something. Also it introduced a new bug in the planner. When I chose my favorite locations as the start location, it always change automatically to my current location. Only works if after the first search I edit the starting point.Edit: new version is buggy and I can’t add credit card payment method. The app doesn’t even reach the point where it asks for the card number
Developer Response
Thank you for your feedback! Our 'clean approach' should actually provide clarity, not confusion. Our team is working diligently to hunt down and fix these bugs. Thank you for helping us get the app back on track!
Fantastic in so many ways

The little app will help you get around Berlin without the need of the language. The time calculated from and to a given location is perfect. You even can purchase the tickets via the app. I got a 2 day tourist ticket and I got around everywhere easily and quickly with impeccable timing. If you get the AB and C regions, you’ll even get to the airport. Cheap as well ticket wise. A must for any tourist (and likely new local) to have.
Developer Response
Thank you so much for the awesome feedback! 🙌 We're thrilled the app made your Berlin adventure smooth and stress-free. And hey, if it can help you get to the airport, we're basically your personal tour guide now! 😎 We might not speak all languages, but we sure know how to get you around the city. Thanks again for sharing – you're officially a Berlin pro now!
