News whether you like it or not

You can lose the video only stories--there should always be a transcript. While I understand you strive for integrity, too many of the articles are so poorly written with many grammatical and contextual errors that only need editing (Why rush?). Your writers need to keep copies of "Strunk and White" and an English language primer handy. Otherwise, I like that you grab news from all over, and you have your own reporters. Also glad you allow the up and down votes on comments.

Deleting comments and bookmarks

They’ve removed my comments on current events. When I attempt to bookmark particular articles I can’t as if they’re being cherry-picked. Then there’s the this content isn’t available in your country? America? Videos aren’t available in America? Why the hell not? And these issues aren’t new.

I’ve dumped accounts, started new ones. I don’t troll, I keep my comments to others to a minimum. I do my best to comment on the merit of the articles offered yet as in today my comments simply don’t post, I can’t see vids unless I’m on a different app boy am I glad I didn’t get roped into paying for any of Yahoo Services.

And I’ll bet dollars to doughnuts Yahoo will send a standardized response rather than troubleshooting their app/services.

UPDATES HAVE REMOVED MOST OF THE COMMUNICATION

Updates have made this app useless for commenters. Feedback has been submitted about this since November 2018 - several updates later nothing has changed and no status. If you’re getting this to exchange comments and ideas, look further. Several versions ago, a commenter could review replies to those comments. A commenter could sign in, go into the account and all replies would be in a readable thread. If a vote was received, following the notification link took you directly to that story and comment - the comment was even shaded. Now there’s no access to your previous comments, replies are not attached to relevant comments, and if you want to see the number of votes you scroll through all of the comments.
