I’m so tired of seeing so much worthless junk day after day. This app was never great, but was never this bad. How many different sections do you need?? Certain ones I actually find offensive, due to their content. And, how long are you going to keep out of date articles on here? IUP, fern hollow…to name a couple. I’ve been seeing some of these articles for months. If there aren’t any actual news stories to cover, just have less articles!

SEIZURE WARNING!!!!That is what needs to be listed. There is absolutely ZERO control over the video that plays in the middle of the articles. There is ZERO way to stop it or pause it. I doubt they thought about the flashing lights from emergency vehicles causing people issues. A LOT of people read the their iconsPhones in dim lighted areas and the brightness of the videos flashing lights can be distracting and mind numbing. And if you’re seizure prone, don’t use this app. I get migraines and the videos playing cause me headaches. Flashing lights of emergency vehicles in the videos I can’t control make it worse. Yes, they give an option to turn off auto play on videos (what they don’t tell you is that it’s only for the video at the top of the app, not the ones they embed in the middle of the article). Great. But then they update their app. The videos that would have played in the past still don’t play. But what they don’t tell you is they added a new video section in the middle of every article that you can’t stop auto playing. I hate auto playing videos because if you’re not careful with the volume they are loud and you need to remember to mute. Also, not everyone has unlimited data. The point of their new videos in the middle of the articles are to advertise other news articles, but still. Stop forcing videos.WHY CAN’T I JUST READ THE NEWS. Stop forcing videos. There are times when people are on their phones when they can’t have volume on, so it’s pointless.

I wanted to mention that of course the ads are horrible and everybody hates them, but you have to make revenue off. I guess somehow I think the problem is is it’s in LA AI generated another becoming offensive now we have Cheech and Chong‘s Gummies to get high with now we have something to s gonna make every woman’s vagina wet. I actually took screenshots of these cause I was going to send them to you. It’s the only channel where you actually get real news, you get a lot of fluff from From KDKA and you get about the same same thing from WTAE because we know the KDKA spending all their money on the radio but they don’t really care about what’s going on but if you wanna know what crime is going on, which is very important to know about anymore it’s you guys it’s the only one I go to. You could really set the bar but really making the app top notch but it’s not. It’s low bar low class same as everybody else.

I appreciate channel 11’s work but do have a couple of criticisms for this app. The first concerns the leading ads when displaying video. The default settings (at least for me) have the sound off and it sometimes is difficult to get the sound on. The answer is to start the news video with sound on and then run the ad after displaying the news content not before the story. Then we have the floating ads in the body of the text that cover over news content. Then we also have frequent examples of the link loading and no type at all displaying. So there’s my review it could be better.
