Over 600 new words have been added, many of them specifically for brass players, and some were suggested by you, our awesome customers. Thanks for your suggestions! Special character support has been added to just a portion of the dictionary so that words like "Scwächer", for example, now properly display the umlaut. We decided to apply this to only a portion of the words in this release because putting special characters into the words will now require you to enter these characters when searching the dictionary. So before we go any further, we'd like your feedback. If you would like to see this support added to the entire dictionary, please let us know via the Support feature on the previous screen. If you'd prefer we remove the special characters entirely, we'd like to hear about that too. Under the covers, preliminary support has been added for international versions of the dictionary. And finally, we've added a link for you to easily rate MusicTools on the App Store should you wish. Rather than take the approach of many apps that rudely interrupt you to ask for a rating while you're trying to use them, we've simply made the feature available under the "More" tab for your use. And thank you in advance, if you use it! Fixes: - In certain situations a word in a list of search results could be displayed below the tab bar and was not selectable.

New Features and Enhancements Music Tools can now be configured via the iPhone Settings app. The font style and size of the dictionary text can now be changed, but note the Reference Chart do not yet support this feature. The dictionary can also be set to automatically start in search mode (i.e. with the keyboard already visible) when MusicTools starts up. Reference links are highlighted words within a definition that when tapped, cause MusicTools to retrieve the definition for the highlighted word. Many more reference links have been added in this release. A small number of words gave the appearance of being duplicate entries when in fact they were actually representing multiple languages of origin. To avoid any possible confusion, these words have been consolidated into single entries with pronunciations and any other language-specific differences noted within the definition.
