I fully understand having advertisements in you app. However, when the app forces you to leave the app and then you return, the app starts at the top of stories instead of where you were in reading articles. Very annoying!
Horrible to navigate
Professionalgroceryshopper
This is one of the most frustrating apps I have. Scrolling through it is like walking through a minefield of ads. I’m sure AI or some algorithm has designed it with ads placed in strategic positions where scrollers are most likely to inadvertently touch thereby opening a bombardic plethora of unwanted ads. (I’m sure this unintented opening probably counts a view or some other “term” that indicates to the advertiser the ad has been seen by the user thereby adding to its value). Frustration is multiplied by content suddenly disappearing and replaced by yet another unwanted ad, then waiting for an eternity for the “x” or “close” prompt to appear. Articles are interrupted with more annoying ads so frequently that they feel as if they are placed in mid-sentence. Many articles are already so poorly written they are difficult to follow without the ceaseless ads. Sometimes while reading an article it suddenly transforms into an endless list of ads. Scrolling backwards the reader discovers they overlooked a blue sign indicating “click here to read more”. What a crock. It’s like driving down a highway with hidden road signs. All typical of the internet exasperating experience only multiplied by 100. Santa Claus how I miss “story continued on page 3”. You didnt get dizzy waiting for the screen content to stop jumping up and down while waiting for every Tom,Dick and Harry to load.
Too many ads!

The increased ads are so relentless I’m ready to uninstall. I’d pay for this if they had an ad free version. But I’m not paying $20 a month for news with Fox One.
Pop Up Ads

I’ve had your app for years and it’s my go to for news, but I’m about ready to delete it and never look back. Your Pop Up ads are obnoxious and annoying. I don’t look at them, I don’t read them, I close them and move on. Until they keep popping up over and over again, then I just close the app and go to a different news source. Very close to being done with it all together.
