I like being able to jump back five seconds or a minute jump ahead 20 seconds when listening to a file for transcription. Minus one star because often times there's a bug when replaying and it stops showing time or location within the audio file. There needs to be a way to backup multiple files at once, one at a time is tedious.
In-App Purchase not showing up

I was looking for an alternative to the iPhone voice memo app since the new update has rendered it slow and buggy. I was excited to use this app with it’s accessible interface. The recording has gone well so far, but when I purchased the audio visualizer nothing I record has any visual under the recording. I have closed the app, restarted it, etc but to no avail. How do I get my in-app purchase to show? What’s more, the support for the app is very poor. The have closed email support and direct you to the App Store for help, but the App Store still has a link for “support for the app” that again directs you to their website where they do not have any contact option.

I made the mistake of updating the app, and all the normal functions of the app became in-app purchases. I had already paid for the app and now I had to pay more for the same functionality, ridiculous. Also, the app never really worked the same after that. It used to deliver top-quality audio, with pro controls and recording options; I even used it to record audio for a pro video shoot with a lav mic; it was a great option if you run out of lavs. Unfortunately, I can no longer use it professionally. I switched to TwistedWave, and even the apple voice memos app is pretty good now. I wish this app was what it used to be.
Getting a little old in the tooth

I really love this app and I upgraded to all the enhanced features, but the interface is buggy. It’s way too small for doing any editing and the app often crashes after I’ve made changes or done an edit to my audio file. It appears there are far more robust audio editing apps that are now available in the App Store since this came out. The developer doesn’t seem to be doing much with it lately, to improve it, or to help the interface for audio editing features be more user-friendly.
