It’s really easy to use. I like it a lot. The only issues that I have had is when I do multiple bill pays when moving to do the second one it seems I have to back to home and do bill pay again from the menu. It would be nice if it said or had a button that said next bill to pay or back to home simply. It could be user error on my part. I also wish when paying bills on my phone app that I wouldn’t have to rotate to landscape to see & select Pay. Otherwise, I love the app.

The recent merger between two credit unions led to the need for a conversion on their app. It feels clunky, and is not as intuitive nor as user friendly as the app of one of the original credit unions. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes last week to try to gain access to Bill Pay history on my account, only to find that the most obvious path (Bill Pay > Payment Activity > enter “last 6 months” in the Time Period filter) wouldn’t garner even close to accurate results. After 25+ minutes of the agent reaching out to various experts we (the agent & I) were told instead to use the path of Menu > Transfer & Pay > Bill Pay > tap on the Payee you need history on > scroll down to Recent Activity > tap on View History > tap on “For History Prior to [most recent statement date]” > then you’ll reach a list of each independent bill pay which includes every payee and you have to tap on every single line item to get ANY information, so you’re playing a blind guessing game to find the date of the transaction you’re looking for. I’m sure if you’re still even reading you are pained by this complicated pathway which ends at a proverbial ball pit and you have to pick up each ball until you find the one with the data you’re looking for. Wildly inefficient, frustrating, and totally unnecessary. Merger? Totally fine. New App? Awesome, I’m here for it. Change? I’m one of those rare folks who actually enjoys change. It just so happens that this conversion needs work. Honest Abe, it truly does. And as an aside… I know y’all just rebranded, but blocky & brown does not draw folks in. The look & feel of the online presence is not inviting nor welcoming. Looking forward to enhancements all around.

I had the spire/blaze app before the new one came out and I reallly liked the old one and the way it worked. I used it alot then the switch to the new app came and I’ve had nothing but trouble since. Everything I had on my old app as far as the way I had it set up is gone (facial recognition, digital deposit,) and now have to redo everything why can’t all our info and the way our old app was setup just be transferred to the new app? I had a hard time even getting in to my account with the new app. If it’s not broke don’t fix it is my theory!

I use to always give 5 stars to the Hiway app. Now I am Very Very sad that I can’t use Bill Pay anymore because of my older version iPhone. I called the Hiway help and was told to call Apple and ask them to force the latest upgrade to my phone. I called Apple and the tech guy was VERY patient with me. I told him the message when I try to access Bill Pay...the message says basically to log in again. I had tried that multiple times and even reinstalled the app. The Apple tech walked me through a scenario where I signed into the site Bill Pay uses an still I couldn’t get in to the bank Bill Pay site. Apple told me to call the bank and tell them it is not a phone issue. I am waiting for a bank person to call me back.
