I found DaySmart on ChatGPT after directing it to help me find and well-rounded platform that has all the gadgets a Facial Specialist will need regarding administrative and clientele organization. This is the first platform I use of this type and I really appreciate how the system is really straightforward to use when you take your time to play around the site. Regardless, there’s easily accessible communication between you and literally anyone from the DaySmart team. The communication and frequent check-up calls to ensure I’m using the platform to its fullest extent has been top-tier. I literally tell them they’re so nice and awesome every call I’ve had since I started. Truly 10/10.

I have been busy with other things as a small business owner and something I recently noticed while trying to save up for a house, is that I haven’t been receiving all my money. I’ll check a client out through the system and when it get deposited it doesn’t include the tip or the full service price. Example: I checked a client out with her service being $85 and including tip the total was $100, when it deposited into my account I only recorded 76… at first I just thought it took some time for it to register the tip but it doesn’t even deposit the service price!?! I did the math of one month of how much it says I made in the system and how much I actually received in my bank account and I’m missing over $1500! I liked this app for a while but that is just straight up robbery!! Owning a small business is already expensive enough where I spend $61 a month for the subscription, they take out a percentage every month of how much I make, on top of not giving me all my money!!!

I downloaded this app last month on a free trial to see if I liked it or not. Hours after downloading and browsing the creator or whoever he is called me and tried to get me set up with a payment device for free and update me to the latest software for for for the month. I ended up getting charged for the first month service anyway and then never received the device I was told I would get even after giving out information that I could’ve kept to myself. Wasted hours out of multiple days talking to me to never get me what was said. Then after I’ve tried to get a refund on 3 different accounts after I was told I would and still nothing. Yeah it’s only $26 but I’m a small business and need everything back I worked for!! Don’t recommend this app at all especially if you are a nail tech. There was not option for me to add pics of services or nothing. I’ll stick with square for free. No unexpected charges and no lies. No one from square has ever contacted me after downloading an app

I had been a loyal salon iris user for over 10 years, but lately the company has changed their practices and seem to be heading in a different direction. Long story short there is way better booking software options for cheaper or free. They have continual price increases once you are signed up. A basic service fee starts at $44 a month.Their billing statements are very messy. Recently I was going though to check why my billing had gone up so. For example here is one of the overcharges I received….. I had found on a recent statement they had tacked on an extra charge for almost $4 for no reason. No statement in the line what it was for, just a charge. I emailed the billing department was immediately disregarded and told talk to a sales rep about it. Why is that a sales rep issue? So I get ahold of the sales rep and he agrees it’s an overcharge….one month later has it been fixed no. Update as of today…..they can fix the overcharge if I sign up to credit card processing. The $4 charge was not the only overcharge on my statement but it was one that was the most blatantly obvious that should have been fixed immediately. So that month my bill was almost $48 for basic booking, no client online booking or appointment reminder text or emails, just basic booking.Check out the other options on the market before you get invested in this company. At $44 plus a month and all the extra hidden charges I would find a more ethical company that actually is run better than this.
