New update — virtual complete loss of functionality on patware

Studying for the patent bar. Used to be able to do study questions from my phone. Now patware is completely unusable. Hoping for a bug fix because I liked studying in downtime. Videos work.Update — safari was the issue. Not PLI. Ad-blocker prevented usability.
Poorly designed app

Great idea to have an app, but the search function is hard to use and doesn’t seem to filter results well, and it seems to be impossible to access live webcasts from directly within the app. I sign in a few minutes before a live cast and instead of getting a “watch now” button or anything similar, I get a button telling me “register” or “update registration” which is not necessary as I’ve been registered for weeks. I’ve hunted through menus and been several minutes late to a couple live programs because there seems to be no way to start the live cast from in the app. I literally have to log into and open the PLI website in Safari on my iPhone, start the live cast there, and then it opens in the app, which defeats half the purpose of having an app. Also had one experience where the app repeatedly dropped connection/ stalled the livestream so I had to watch it on my phone in Safari browser which ran fine. Busy attorneys don’t have time to be going through all this hassle just to connect to a live cast.

So many bugs. I had to completely shut off my device in order to stop listening to a downloaded session. The pause button was completely inoperable on the main part of my device, and the screen was black with no ability to tap on the screen for a pause or back button (or something) to appear. I guess this really simulates a live CLE session in that way! I can't imagine that this is by design, but if it is it should definitely be improved. Otherwise I will give it another try since it is very handy to be able to listen and learn on the go.
Constantly having to re sign-in and start video over

I’m a power user of this app and use it almost every day on my commutes and in the past I would only need to “sign in” once every month or so and now it’s almost every time I use it. So if I use it for my morning commute I’ll need to sign in again for my evening commute. The worst part is that every single time it requires me to re sign in it will lose my spot in my the video and make me start from the beginning. It’s so frustrating that I almost want to stop using PLI app altogether until it’s fixed.
