I have been a customer of Wings Financial for over 30 years. In all my years with Wings I have never had a financial institution take such good care of me and and my family like Wings. I started out as a customer when I worked for NWA in MSP. At that time the Bloomington, MN branch was the headquarters. Over the years I have seen people come and go. Yet the customer service has only gotten better. I lived in Apple Valley and watched the new headquarters being built many years ago. In 2003 l moved out of MN and into an area where there is no Wings Financial Branch near me. Things for a little while got a little difficult in regards to deposits. With assistance from call center manager and her supervisor and myself a solution was able to found. With this solution it stayed within the policies and procedures of Wings. Like I stated a GREAT institution to DEAL WITH EVERYONE WORKED TOGETHER TO COME UP WITH A SOLUTION TO DEAL WITH MY SITUATION. I’m not trying to blow sunshine anywhere. I’m just stating facts about a company that has something that most companies have lost many years ago…CONCERNS OVER WHAT THEIR CUSTOMERS THINK! This is why I have been with Wings for over 30+ years. I’ve been with Wings longer than my first wife. My second wife is a member and Wings treat her just as courteously. I couldn’t thank everyone at WINGS ENOUGH FROM THE PRESIDENT TO MEMBER SERVICES FOR ALL OF THEIR FINE WORK AND KINDNESS THAT ALL OF YOU HAVE EXTENDED TO MY FAMILY AND MYSELF… THANK YOU EVERYONE FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!! WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE. WE ARE LOYAL CUSTOMERS TIL THE DAY WE PASS.

I have been a member since is was 15 and could earn a paycheck. I have loved Wings Financial and they have been so great and have helped on numerous car purchases. But something is going on behind the scenes lately and they are getting sloppy. I used to be able to use the mobile deposit feature and it worked like a dream. Ever since they made the update, it can’t process any of the pics even though they are crystal clear. I was told ridiculous things to fix it like delete the app and reload it three times or place the check on a dark background when the issue still could not be resolved. The first check I had to recently deposit was for roughly $700. I read over very thoroughly numerous times because I’m anal retentive with anything relating to money, and wings financial apparently claimed I typed in $7,000 dollars which is completely false as I looked over total amount entered 4 times before entering. Also, I have had my new car financed to be taken out of my account on the 14th of every month because that is almost always right around when I get paid. This hasn’t been an issue until the past few months where wings has been taking it out two days early which has screwed me over. Usually if the funds are not in the checking account, it’s takes the remaining owed from the savings account to balance out the checking. When I looked today, it was all jacked up and nothing from my checking or savings made any sense. I went to call about it and I couldn’t get anyone. I loved that in the past you could still call a general line and someone would pick up in the evening hours but they don’t do that anymore either. What’s going on Wings? I’m considering leaving and going to a different credit union. I’ve had enough. Looks like you guys have new business management and it’s AWFUL.

The Wings Mobile app offers users a variety of features approaching but not equaling the credit union's web app. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and includes the useful Money Tracker also available online. Features like mobile deposit and schedule-an-appointment are also helpful on the go. Overall the mobile app offers an above average user experience and more functionality than your average banking mobile app.However, Wings should do everything in its power to bring the mobile app up to feature parity with its web app. For example, the web app offers a more extensive profile tab with show/hide functionality for individual accounts. At present accounts that I hide in the web app still appear in my mobile app.A more integrated experience between web and mobile would go a long way toward keeping Wings a competitive alternative to the big banks.

app is great. It has a majority of the functionality that I need in the go. I’m not adverse to jumping on the browser for the features it does not offer. It would be nice if they were integrated in future releases. I’m still not understanding why a yellow gold font is used in the pop up messages and in some places in the GUI. It is Exceptionally hard to read. My vision was horrible. I had an awful time with reading the text. I have since had vision correction and now I have 20/16 and it’s still hard to make out. My husband is color blind. It all but disappears for him. I want to leave this on a high note. The app is solid. It doesn’t crash. It works when and how I need it to. With just a bit more work it will be 5 Star!
