A friend of the family brought me into Ameriprise in March 2024 Derek Phillips, who was my friend’s financial advisor set me down and asked me what I wanted out of this meeting. An hour later when the meeting was completed, I walked out of there with Mr. Phillips as my financial advisor , who he had set me up with a diversified portfolio that was to my liking. Quirkiness in the App

Going from my main page after signing in, I get all my Ameriprise schwag (investment portfolio, investment growth, where it’s allocated and credit card)Pressing the credit card section, I go to the credit card (off site). Once it loads, I try to make a payment. But let’s say I make a mistake. When I press the back button, or select going to the credit card section, I have to go ALL THE WAY BACK to the main page, select the credit card, wait for it to go off site, select payment…Might be nit-picky and is definitely a first world problem.Thank you
Portfolio Performance Update Makes App Worse

As other users have already noted, the latest update to the app makes the process of extracting portfolio performance considerably less user friendly. It now takes more clicks to get less information. The previous version of this functionality was far from ideal (several implementations that offer superior customer experience are available in apps from competing providers), but at least I only had to tap once to see financial data for other periods. Rate of return is ultimately the most important data point for a user of this service and now it’s much harder to calculate.
Clients can now use the Ameriprise app to apply for an Ameriprise® Bank Savings Account.
This update also includes enhancements and bug fixes.
