This release brings several updates to the UMiami App: •Consolidated Student personas for a better user experience. •Fixed an issue with location-based messages. •Reconnected live shuttle routes from the UM Shuttles platform.

Bug fixes and feature enhancements.

In this latest release, we have upgraded our app-building platform to improve performance, app navigation, and user experience. Across many parts of the app, you will notice changes to the interface, including a bottom toolbar to provide access to multiple app-wide features. The ‘Cane Kickoff Orientation' persona was also updated for the Fall 2022 semester to provide new incoming students with orientation resources.

New year, new look - the UMiami mobile app has been redesigned to provide a revamped, personal experience for all users. We’re happy to introduce personas for new and returning students and faculty and staff - providing a user-experience that is aligned with your life at UM. Additionally, this update includes a new visual design that provides news and social feeds immediately when you access the app, and access to other important resources and modules.

What's New: - Shuttle module updated with new visual look - Courses module updated to include courses for new semester - Athletics module updated to reflect latest sports news and scores - Bug fixes

The UMiami App has moved to a new platform that will allow for more frequent content updates, without the need to update the App. While this initial version looks similar to the previous version, major visual changes will be coming soon.

Removed link to Blackboard Mobile Learn App and replaced with with a link to the new Blackboard App.

Sections now have a link to their location on the campus map. • Videos – Features the University’s YouTube channel • Photos – Features the University’s Instagram channel • Events – Added several calendars from around the University • News – Features the new University mobile News site • Directory – Added Email contact info to the employee directory • Find A Doc – Updated look and feel, real-time updates of all doctors in the UHealth system.

Now featuring: Library – Search for any title, author or keyword among more than four million books, journals, DVDs, and other resources at the UM Libraries. You can also get research help though online subject guides, ask a librarian a question, view available computers at the Richter Library, and much more. Find a Doc – No matter what ails you, here’s a list of all the UM physicians who can help. Search by specialty or physician name. Webcams – Catch a current glimpse of the goings-on around the Coral Gables, Miller School, and Rosenstiel School campuses. Updates: - Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science now included in Maps and Places. - New look to the Parking module. - News will now display a red bubble on the springboard news icon when an emergency message has been broadcasted. - Emergency option will display a red bubble within the news selection list when an emergency message has been implemented and remains unread. - Red marker will disappear once the emergency message is read.
