Worst app I’ve ever used - CEO read these reviews and hear YOUR customers!

Not a happy loyal customer!
This app is beyond terrible. It’s slow, won’t save your personal data and it just about useless. My whole family loves Emagine but unless they change these app so we can pay and reserve before we arrive we’re going to start driving a little further out to visit the completion. Emagine’s CEO and his management team serious need to get off their butts, reads these review and do something about it. Drive your app developer immediately and bring a cross sectional group of you toughest no most demanding customers in to test your new app!

Not a happy loyal customer!

This app is beyond terrible. It’s slow, won’t save your personal data and it just about useless. My whole family loves Emagine but unless they change these app so we can pay and reserve before we arrive we’re going to start driving a little further out to visit the completion. I don’t know what Emagine executives were thinking when they opted to change their app to this latest version…. It’s horrible! Not only did they do away with their native connectivity to Apple Pay, they now offer no way to save payment methods whatsoever. Having to manually keep in entire payment information EVERY time is not an acceptable customer experience from a company that has and should do better. Aside from that, this app is MUCH more restrictive on what our now so-called “rewards” tickets can be redeemed for which is basically now nothing except the oldest, least desirable movies still screening at their theaters. I now have accumulated “free” tickets that are pretty much useless unless I want to wait and hope a move I want to see is still there a month after it releases. As quickly as films come and go, this has really limited the point and perk of having a reward system at all. I have been a loyal Emagine supporter from the company’/ beginning and believe that this is another in a list of recent examples that current leadership is not living up to Paul Glantz’s original vision. Their greed is consuming them and they should be ashamed that they are destroying the great business and experience that he worked so hard to create. If something at the top doesn’t change, at the rate they are going, Emagine is destined to become another great-turned-garbage movie chain like AMC. As a huge movie enthusiast this is most disheartening. But it is not too late to course-correct and they can start by fixing/improving this sorry excuse for an app.

iOS 16.4 app not working

Unfortunately, after the latest update, my app is no longer functioning properly. After I login, the app shows me my reward points and then immediately shuts down. I turned off my phone and restarted it. That doesn’t solve the issue. I also deleted the application and reinstalled it. I thought I might’ve solve the issue, but once I logged in again, after every time, I open the app it immediately shuts down. my phone is currently up-to-date so at this point I have no other option but to wait until they fix the issue with the application. It is a bummer because I’m a platinum rewards member and now if I want to get tickets I have to either call the theater or email the person running the program. I have to also use other means to find out what times shows are available and I can’t see the seating chart.Once the issue is solved, I would love to update my reading. Personally before they did the update, I think the app was around a three star. It function and allowed me to order tickets. The new features that are listed about the new app are awesome and I would love to see them in action. i’ll update this review once the app starts working.

Why am I paying a fee for buying a ticket directly from Emagine?This leads to the second issue which is that when I purchase tickets in-person to avoid the fee, they don’t get added to my purchase history in the app. Providing my account info at the kiosk or counter does help the purchase count toward my reward points. But if I want to look back and see when or where I saw a movie, the information isn’t in my history. Also, I get a pop-up saying “Open Settings. You currently have notifications turned off for this application. You can open Settings to re-enable them.” every single solitary time I open this app. It’s extremely annoying.
