Very good app and bank overall but when it comes to bank to mobile transactions over the weekend is where they draw the line, I swear I’ve been stuck several times trying to make transactions. I’m not sure if even our money goes to sleep I’m not sure but this needs to be worked on. I’ve been with FNB since they came to Zambia and this may be their only flaw.

Location required for payments? Are you kidding?! What if the location services are not available. What if I don’t want to share it with FNB? Then the app is essentially useless. I value my privacy and FNB should rather invest their time and money on implementing secure two factor authentication rather than spying on their customers. I can already see my location data land up in the next data leak. That’s how you lose customers FNB

Hi there, customers are faced with a number of threats and we have introduced an additional security layer when performing certain transactions. Whilst this may appear intrusive it is a valuable tool in combatting fraud and providing contextual information for fraud detection. We do not share any of this location data with 3rd parties. I’ve used banking apps from around the world. happy to give 5 stars (relative to what else is out there). Yes there are areas to improve, but you guys at FNB are close to the front of the pack in overall service and digitization
