Extremely disappointed with how long and the time taken (still my issue hasn’t been resolved) for talabat to place my order of ice cream (the branch is 5 minutes away by drive and I am in quarantine so I cannot get it myself). Anyways I had placed the order in the hope to receive it after 20 minutes in which it had said on the app. Around 50 minutes go by in which I was concerned with what had happened to my order with no updates on what’s happening. Then I had spoken to a representative about my issue, they had told me that there was a “technical error” with the system. I had understood that however by the time I was going to replace the same exact order ( keep in mind I wasn’t updated by talabat and the branch near me had closed) using the credit it had given me I tried to place the order but it had told me to pay extra as it is a different location. I was surprised that it had asked me to pay extra since it was a technical issue on their end and I hadn’t been informed about the problem. Furthermore I had spoken to a representative about this issue saying how it was unfair for me to have to pay the difference when their system had failed, keep in mind talabat understood that there was an issue but had done little to help solve it. The only thing was I want the same order nothing less or nothing more using the credit they had given me. The issue still hasn’t been resolved after 2 and a half hours of speaking. This has made me not want to use their app again having to go through this issue and several others. I would rather go and get my order myself then go through the tedious process to speak to a representative everytime. I understand that it cannot always be perfect but when it’s their fault they never take the blame. This really does frustrate me that the problems are never solved or take a really long time to solve them.

Missing Ingredient Details for Grocery Items

When I'm browsing through products, especially when it comes to food items like snacks, sauces, or packaged goods, I rely on knowing what's inside. Without an ingredients list, it's challenging to make informed decisions about what I'm purchasing. This poses several problems: 1. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions: Without knowing the ingredients, it's impossible for users with allergies or dietary restrictions to determine if a product is safe for them to consume. This can be particularly concerning for individuals with severe allergies or specific dietary needs. 2. Transparency and Trust: Ingredient transparency is essential for building trust between consumers and the products they purchase. When an app fails to provide this information, it can erode trust and credibility, leading users to question the reliability of the platform. 3. Health and Nutrition: For those who are conscious of their health and nutrition, having access to ingredient lists allows them to make choices that align with their dietary goals. Whether it's avoiding certain additives or prioritizing whole, natural ingredients, ingredient transparency is key to making healthier choices. I urge the developers to prioritize adding detailed ingredient lists to all grocery items available on the app. This simple yet crucial feature enhancement would greatly improve the user experience and make the app a go-to resource for all shoppers, regardless of their dietary needs or preferences.

It wasn’t the first time I have a problem but it will definitely be my last (app deleted). My order was late. I used the “Live Chat” and explained that according to the app it says my food has already reached but it’s really 1/2 hour late. The reply: “the driver must be nearby and marked it as delivered. Please wait 15 minutes.” I replied that 15 minutes is not nearby but I will wait. 30 minutes later I contact the live chat again. I am placed on hold and finally I’m told he needs 15 minutes. On top of being an hour late already! Needless to say he did not come in 15 minutes. I tried calling I tried the live chat again! Maybe I cannot blame Talabat for the restaurants short comings but their service to help you track the order is miserable 😩. Uber Eats gives me the drivers number and I can track his car as soon as he leaves the restaurant. Never again Talabat. Horrible app horrible service!

I was with talabat since the beginning when the name was 6alabat and i enjoyed their service ever since but it has just been getting worse and i kept giving them chances until recently when i subscribed for pro and had my first order delivered late and the food was cold and barely edible, and although i complained more than once and told them I’d be canceling my account if it wasn’t resolved. Their response was an automated email of compensation for 500 fils although i requested a refund for everything that was supposed to be hot. And used every possible channel to resolve this. But clearly they refuse to act professionally. I’ve deleted my account of more than 10 years and ended my subscription of one day.Funny thing is they give you a warning in a pop up message that you’ll lose all credit and vouchers so i had to give up my 450 fils in refunds and the 500 fils the compensation so i paid them 950 fils instead of getting a refund of 14 kd to delete my account it’s like im begging them to be better. worst experience.As for alternatives i tried carriage for many years and it was good until they became greedy so i deleted the app and now I’m sticking with deliveroo for a while and never had any issues with them so far and i get my refunds fast and at least i get to talk to a representative if the issue is still going unlike talabat where my ticket gets closed twice with a 500 fils compensation. Deliveroo is the way to go these days. Some other local companies are good for certain restaurants but they lack the scale usually i would give them a go if I can’t find them on deliveroo but usually it’s more than sufficient.
