Tower’s free App makes it easy for our members to bank on the go. Check balances, transfer money, pay bills, open new accounts, apply for loans, make loan payments, locate fee-free ATMs and Tower branches close by, view eStatements, and more.
Deposit checks without leaving home with mobile check deposit, available in the App. Set up real-time account alerts and controls so you can stay on top of your finances and be notified of any unusual activity on your accounts.
The App is secure, convenient, and easy to use. It’s like having a Tower branch at your fingertips at all times.
Tower members must sign up for free online banking at towerfcu.org or login to the App.
Title says it all. Before, you could click on your account and see withdrawals in red text and deposits would be in green text. And visually, that was super clear, and it was easy to just scan through your account to make sure that each new withdrawal/deposit was something that was intended. Now, probably in attempt to make the app look more modern, it’s just a wall of white with black text which make it visually much slower and more difficult to use. Please bring the old way back!
App overhaul ruined everything
Baddude101
Ever since the app overhaul of the UI it has been a buggy mess and a constant trial and error. It will show your balance incorrectly and then finally update it to the correct balance DAYSSSSSS later and is so frustrating when trying to plan for finances with the app since it refuses to show your updated balance quickly which mind you is the whole point of having a banking app and at this point I have to go to an atm to actually figure out what my actual balance is. Support will just read your screen back to you and will not acknowledge the problem and will simply say that that’s your balance but lo and behold a few DAYSSSSS later the correct balance will finally appear. The app was great to yuse before this horrid ui change and it doesn’t look like they really care to fix this problem.
Whack

I started contracting with this company to take a loan out for a car. They accepted my application! However, this app is not user friendly. It would seem the most challenging way to make a payment is the only option. Otherwise, you have to use a third party to make your payment to the loan. I even linked my bank account with this app, and it still won’t allow me to use it to make a payment, in the app. It seems they have their own option “Prime Share” to do so. Alas, you cannot transfer funds from the bank account you just linked to this “Prime Share” in order to pay the bill. Tower, I paid my bill through your third party. I hope you got it, because if you didn’t… it’s on you and your whack app.
Major Downgrade for iOS App
AWBriggs
The new version of the iOS App (Summer 2024) is a significant downgrade from before. The old app offered a seamless login, native app experience, and access to widgets. The new app does not offer widgets, is a hybrid app with a web-based feel, and I’ve had numerous issues with login. The latest issue is that the app says my account is locked and I need to call for help. When I called for help, they said they don’t see any issues with the account, but there’s nothing they can do to assist me on a Sunday. I’ll have to call back during business hours. Needless to say, not being able to do my banking when I need to is a strong deterrent to doing banking with TFCU.
Our new experience provides easier access to the features you use most while on the go. This new version includes updates to the accounts, mobile deposit and navigation experience.
